Vehicle strikes fire hydrant
FLEMINGTON -- The driver of a 1985 Dodge Ram 1500 was issued a citation for not driving on roadways laned for traffic following a one vehicle accident along High Street, state police at Lamar said.
Stephen C. James, 67, of Lock Haven, was traveling south on the road when the truck traveled off the right side of the road and struck a raised curb, police said.
James continued to travel to straddle the curb through the intersection with Canal Street and struck a fire hydrant before coming to rest in the roadway, police said.
James was not wearing his seatbelt and suffered suspected minor injures, police said.
DUI alleged
SALONA -- Eric Notin, 54, of Orangeville, Pa. was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Route 220 near Long Run Road, Lamar Township on June 2, state police at Lamar said.
The incident occurred at 10:25 p.m. on Route 220 north near the Salona exit where Notin was observed during a traffic violation, police said.
During the traffic stop it was determined that Notin was under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody, police said.
Motorcycle slides on gravel
SALONA -- The driver of a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R motorcycle suffered minor injuries after crashing the vehicle on Long Run Road on June 9 at 6:43 p.m., state police at Lamar said.
Brenton M. Summerson, 23, of Mill Hall, was traveling east on the road about one mile east of Rossman's Lane, Lamar Township when he slid on loose gravel while negotiating a left hand curve, police said.
Summerson continued, striking a guide rail before stopping on the side of the road, police said.
Summerson was wearing his helmet during the crash and was issued a citation involving driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Vehicle hits embankment
SALLADASBURG -- The driver of a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero was not injured following a one vehicle accident along Route 287, Cummings Township in Lycoming County on June 10, state police at Montoursville said.
Sapphie E. Naugle, 23, of Jersey Shore, was traveling south on the roadway at about 3:30 a.m. when her vehicle exited the road and hit an embankment, police said.
The vehicle went back across both lanes, striking a guiderail off the left shoulder and rotating counter clockwise before coming to rest in the north lane, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damaged and was towed from the scene by Sick's Towing, police said.
Naugle was issued a citation involving driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
DUI crash
LINDEN -- State police at Montoursville are investigating a possible DUI related crash the occurred near the intersection of South Pine Run and Youngs roads in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, police said.
The crash occurred at 6:33 p.m. on June 6 and involved a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt and possible 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
No names were listed on the report as the investigation continues.
Possible theft
BELLEFONTE -- State police at Rockview are investigating a possible theft from an 18-year-old Bellefonte woman in Walker Towship.
The theft was reported by Makayla Regel on June 14, who told police $152 was stolen from her Paypal account, police said.
No injuries
BELLEFONTE -- Ramon L. Campmany, 63, of Douglaston, N.Y., was not injured after his 2019 VLV crashed along Interstate 80 in Boggs Township on June 14, state police at Rockview said.
Campmany was traveling west on the roadway near mile marker 152 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck and embankment causing disabling damage, police said.
Campmany was issued a citation involving driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Cited for harassment
AARONSBURG -- Two Aaronsburg residents were cited for harassment after a physical altercation along Pine Street, Haines Township on June 15, state police at Rockview said.
Derek Hart, 31, and Nicole Miller, 38, were both involved in a physical altercation that took place at 6:32 p.m., police said.
Natural death
BELLEFONTE -- A 92-year-old Bellefonte man died of natural causes at SCI Rockview on June 16, state police at Rockview said.
DUI charges
BELLEFONTE -- A 51-year-old Bellefonte man was charged with driving under the influence following a one vehicle crash along Interstate 99 in Benner Township on May 16, state police at Rockview said.
Charges will be filed through district court, police said.
