JERSEY SHORE -- Feeling very weak and sleepy after being given a drug, a teenage girl suddenly found herself being dragged into a bedroom by Michael Fulger Jr., who then started to undress her and remove his own clothes as well, an officer alleged in a criminal complaint.
The girl cried and begged Fulger to stop, but the 21-year-old man climbed on top of her and raped her, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Patrolman Justin Segura alleged.
The sexual assault occurred in a home in the Jersey Shore area on the afternoon of March 30, the officer said, adding that Fulger and the victim were acquainted with one another.
Before the assault, Fulger allegedly offered the victim a drug, which she consumed, the officer said he was told. The alleged attack ended when a relative of the victim arrived at the property.
As the teen left the house, Fulger told her "Make sure you don't tell anyone sweetie. I can get in trouble," according to the officer's affidavit.
Fulger, of 217 Smith St., apartment A, Jersey Shore, was arraigned before District Judge Jon E. Kemp on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corrupting the morals of a minor and indecent assault. He remains jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $90,000 bail.
