One-vehicle crash
MILESBURG -- State Police at Rockview were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place near milemarker 155 along Interstate 80 in Boggs Township, Centre County around 8:22 a.m. on Aug. 20.
According to police, Demarko English, 28, of Fairfield, Ohio was traveling westbound along Interstate 80 in his 2015 Chevrolet Impala when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guiderail. He then turned right and the vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled once before coming to rest.
The vehicle had to be towed from the scene by Rich's Amoco Towing. English and two occupants in the vehicle -- Rhey Orme, 27, of Arizona and Esita Calhoun, 21, of Ohio -- were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Milesburg Fire Company, Pleasant Gap EMS, Bellefonte EMS and Snow Shoe EMS.
English was cited for his role in the crash.
Harassment
JERSEY SHORE -- An argument between two individuals resulted in State Police at Montoursville being called to a location along state Route 880 in Crawford Township, Clinton County.
According to police, the altercation took place between 37-year-old Amber Karichner of Jersey Shore and a 17-year-old juvenile. The incident took place at 3:55 p.m. on Aug. 16. The case remains open pending further court proceedings, according to police.
Flag stolen
MOSHANNON -- A case of theft was investigated by State Police at Rockview. According to police, an 18-year-old man from Endicott, N.Y., stole a Donald Trump flag and a flagpole from a private residence along Bucktail Lane in Burnside Township, Centre County.
The flag and flagpole were valued at $50.
Charges were filed through magisterial district justice 49-3-03.
Harassment involving juvenile
TROUT RUN -- State Police at Montoursville investigated a case of harassment that took place around 4:33 on Aug. 21 along Mill Street in Lewis Township, Lycoming County.
According to police, Codi Palmer, 23, of Linden grabbed a 16-year-old female twice while having an argument. Palmer was cited for harassment.
Firearm sale
PORT MATILDA -- State Police at Rockview investigated a firearm purchase application that was denied. The incident took place around noon on March 28 along Port Matilda Highway in Rush Township, Centre County.
Charges are pending the Centre County District Attorney's office decision.
Drug possession
WINGATE -- State Police at Rockview investigated a case of drug possession that took place at 11:47 a.m. on Aug. 5 at the intersection of South Eagle Valley Road and Runville Road in Boggs Township, Centre County.
According to police, an 18-year-old man from Endicott, N.Y., was stopped in his 2012 Nissan Rogue. Police say they found a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia. Charges were filed through magisterial district justice 49-3-02.
