Three-vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN -- Lock Haven City Police were called to the scene of a three-vehicle accident that took place around 7 a.m. on Nov. 25 along East Bald Eagle Street in downtown Lock Haven.

According to police, Kiana Smith of Lock Haven was traveling along East Bald Eagle Street when she became distracted and hit a pair of parked cars. Smith hit one vehicle, which pushed it into another. Smith's vehicle as well as the first one she hit sustained disabling damage. The third vehicle, sustained minor damage. Two of the three vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Smith's airbag deployed. She suffered a minor injury in the accident.

Two-vehicle crash

BELLEFONTE -- State police at Rockview investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place along the Benner Pike in Benner Township, Centre County on Nov. 28.

According to police, a 2018 Toyota Matrix being driven by Jason Gaffney, 37, of Latrobe was traveling the wrong way on the Benner Pike when he attempted to make a U-turn. During the U-turn, he struck a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze being driven by Rachel Duda, 23, of Shillington. Gaffney and Duda sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
