Two-vehicle accident
LOCK HAVEN -- Lock Haven City Police investigated a two-vehicle accident that took place around 7:25 p.m. on Dec. 5.
According to police, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Zachariah Baney of Lock Haven was traveling along Linden Street in Lock Haven when it struck a parked 2016 Mazda CX-5 owned by Donald E. Greene of Lock Haven. The truck struck the car with such force that the truck rolled onto its side and struck a dumpster.
Baney and a passenger, Kaylee Frankhouser, were trapped inside the vehicle until police freed them. Upon investigation, officers noted the smell of alcohol. DUI charges are pending blood results.
Damage to both vehicles was severe. The investigation continues.
