Police news – Dec. 19
LOCK HAVEN — A three-vehicle accident that resulted in multiple citations being handed out was investigated by Lock Haven City Police on Dec. 15.
According to police, the accident occurred between three vehicles — a 2018 Ford 300 Series van, a 2016 Jeep Wranger and a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. The van, being driven by Charles Mandel of Lock Haven struck the Jeep, which was being driven by Brenda Titus. The force of that accident pushed the Jeep into the Equinox, which was being driven by Emily Reyes.
When officers arrived at the scene, James Titus — who was not in any of the vehicles — was threatening Mandel and emergency personnel. Damage to all three vehicles was severe and sustained disabling damage and airbags deployed.
Mandel was cited for careless driving, Brenda Titus and Reyes were cited as well. James Titus was cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing emergency services.
There were some injuries in the crash, according to police.
