Crash kills Spring Mills man
CENTRE HALL — A 63-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Potter Township, according to Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers.
At about 6:30 a.m., David Laing, of Spring Mills, veered from his lane and crashed head on into another vehicle near the intersection of Earlystown Road and Oakwood Lane, Sayers said in a news release.
According to Sayers, Laing was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center where he died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma injuries sustained in the crash. An autopsy was performed.
State police at Rockview are investigating the crash. They were assisted at the scene by the Pleasant Gap Volunteer Fire Department.
