MILLHEIM — A 20-year-old Spring Mills man was allegedly assaulted by two men in Millheim Borough on Jan. 2, state police at Rockview said. The victim reported the incident at Mount Nittany Medical Center and said it occurred around 3 p.m., police said.


BEECH CREEK — A 27-year-old Lock Haven man is suspected of taking a combination of unknown drugs, causing an overdose on Jan. 8 along North Eagle Valley Road, Liberty Township, Centre County, state police at Rockview said.

The victim was resuscitated and transported to UPMC Lock Haven for treatment, police said.

Pills and drug paraphernalia were found and seized from his apartment and taken to PSP Rockview station where it was secured into evidence, police said.

Vehicles damaged

MILESBURG — Four cars were damaged by rocks and gravel along Front Street in Milesburg Borough, state police at Rockview said.

The vehicles, a 2019 Dodge Chrysler, 2010 Chrysler, 2002 Chevrolet and 2003 Subaru, were damaged between Jan. 5 and 8, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.

Two vehicle accident

MILESBURG — No one was injured in a two vehicle accident along Turnpike Street in Milesburg Borough on Jan. 10, state police at Rockview said.

Shanon P. Barrier, 46, of Bellefonte, was traveling north on the roadway when his 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 struck the back of a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Nicholas D. Spicer, 24, of Julian, police said.

Barrier was cited for texting while driving and his vehicle was towed from the scene by Rich’s Amoco, police said.
