Trespassing investigated

BOGGS TOWNSHIP — State police at Rockview investigated a case of simple trespass that took place around 8:47 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2020.

According to police, a 36-year-old female from Julian was staying inside a building without persmission. The building is owned by a 59-year-old Milesburg man. The woman was arrested for criminal trespass. The investigation is still ongoing, police said.

Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at Rockview on Jan. 21.

According to police, Brian Osterhout, 35, of Tyrone, was in possession of drugs while in custody at the Centre County Correctional Facility.

The incident was reported at 4:48 p.m., police said.

Drug paraphernalia

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview discovered drug paraphernalia on a stop for a traffic violation on Jan. 24.

According to police, a vehicle was stopped at 11:04 a.m. on a summary traffic violation along Interstate 80 East. An odor of marijuana was detected and a consent search was conducted. The search yielded multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

Charges are pending through magisterial district justice 49-3-03.
