LOCK HAVEN — A multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 80 East caused a lane restriction on Sunday afternoon.
According to 511PA, the crash took place three miles east of exit 178, state Route 220 North to Lock Haven. The crash took place around 1 p.m.
No other details were reported.
JERSEY SHORE — State police at Montoursville were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 654 in Bastress Township, Lycoming County.
According to police, Luke Laubach, 22, of Jersey Shore was driving his 2012 Kia Sorento along state Route 654 when he lost control of the vehicle. The Sorento traveled into the oncoming lane of traffic, left the roadway and struck a snowbank. The vehicle rolled onto its passenger side. Laubach was not hurt in the crash, but he was cited by police.
Police were assisted at the scene by Nisbet Fire Company, Nippenose Valley Fire Company and Steinbacher Towing.
MILESBURG — State police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place on Dec. 28.
According to police, around 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 28, someone hopped the fence at the Valley Ace in Milesburg and stole numerous items. The victims of the theft were a 52-year-old Bellefonte man and a 53-year-old Bellefonte woman. A 28-inch Blackstone grill valued at $200 was recovered.
The investigation into theft of the other items continues.
STATE COLLEGE — State police at Rockview investigated a death that took place around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 30 along East Park Avenue in College Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 69-year-old Bellefonte man died at a private residence. Police say that the man died of natural causes.
Theft from mailbox
CENTRE HALL — A case of theft was investigated by state police at Rockview on Dec. 23.
According to police, a 53-year-old Centre Hall woman had Christmas cards and cookies stolen from her mailbox along Rimmey Road in Potter Township, Centre County. The woman told police that she observed an older, dark green compact SUV pull into her driveway and take items from her mailbox. She described the thief as a male.
The investigation is ongoing.
