Two vehicle crash
LOCK HAVEN -- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the corner of South Fairview Street and Bellefonte Avenue at 3:39 p.m. Jan. 21.
Drivers were Heather D. Garman of Lock Haven, and Barbara A. Kessinger of Lock Haven.
Garman was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by ambulance with suspected minor injuries, as was a passenger in her vehicle, Barbara Morse who suffered a head laceration.
There were three passengers in the Kessinger vehicle and one of them was transported to the hospital, police said.
According to police, Garman made a left turn in front of the Kessinger vehicle, which was eastbound on Bellefonte Avenue. Garman will be cited for improper left turn, police said.
Parked truck hit
LOCK HAVEN -- A Peterbilt semi truck legally parked on East Walnut Street was hit by a car operated by Lindsey Straub of Lock Haven at 6 p.m. Jan. 16, according to Lock Haven City Police.
Straub was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobolt when she leaned over into the passenger seat to adjust a pizza when she struck the tractor trailer owned by Joseph J. Maxwell of Crystal Lake, Ill. Police said she will be cited.
Two juveniles in Straub's car suffered minor injuries, police said.
Stop sign stolen
LOCK HAVEN -- Lock Haven City Police report the theft of a portable stop sign from the intersection of Walnut Street at Second Avenue overnight Jan. 24 to Jan. 25. Police said the sign is valued at $75.
Indecent assault alleged
BELLEFONTE -- State police at Rockview are investigating a report of indecent assault that allegedly occurred between Jan. 1 and Nov. 5, 2020 on Harvard Road in Patton Township. The alleged victims are two little girls, ages 3 and 6, police said.
Harassment charges
SNOW SHOE -- A 63-year-old man from Frenchville is charged with harassing a 53-year-old Bellefonte man, according to state police at Rockview
Police said charges were filed on Jan. 28 after police were called to an incident on Thomas Street in Snow Shoe.
PFA violation
LOGANTON -- State police at Lamar responded to a report of a Protection from Abuse violation on Jan. 20 in Greene Township.
When the investigation concluded, Nathan Miller, 44, of Lewisburg, was charged with violating an active PFA and taken to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Drug possession
LOCK HAVEN -- Dalton Hockenberry, 19, of Blanchard, has been charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation at the corner of Commerce Street and West Bald Eagle Street at 10:48 p.m. Jan. 2, state police at Lamar report.
Hockenberry was taken to UPMC Lock Haven Hospital for chemical testing and charges will be filed at the office of District Judge Keith G. Kibler, police said.
Drug arrest
AVIS -- Sierra Huntington, 21 of Milesburg, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and admitted to using marijuana after she was discovered in a parked vehicle on Take A Peek Road in Pine Creek Township on Dec. 21, according to state police at Lamar.
Police said they discovered Huntington in the parked 2019 Subaru Forester and smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Several items of drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle, police said.
The defendant was taken into custody for alleged DUI and transported to Jersey Shore Geisinger for chemical tests. Charges will be field at the office of District Judge Keith G. Kibler, police said.
Resisting arrest, drug possession
MILL HALL -- Michael James Bower, 38, of Williamsport was jailed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility following an incident on Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Jan. 28, according to state police at Lamar.
Police said Bower was a passenger in a 2006 Toyota Corolla for a traffic stop and the driver was found to have a suspended license. While attempting to identify Bower, , police said he provided a false name and was ultimately found to have a felony warrant for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
While attempting to take Bower into custody, police said he pushed away from troopers and fled on foot, After a short foot pursuit, Bower was taken into custody and found to be in possession of suspected Bath Salts, police said. Charges of resisting arrest, drug possession, disorderly conduct and providing false identification will be filed against Bower, police said.
