LOCK HAVEN -- An 11-year-old girl was cited for disorderly conduct after she was found burning a pile of leaves with a propane torch in one of the dugouts at Hammermill Park on Jan. 15, Lock Haven City police said.
Drug possession
HOWARD -- A 26-year-old Howard man was cited for drug possession following a traffic stop along North Eagle Valley Road near Bald Eagle State Park, Howard Township, on Jan. 21, state police at Rockview said.
The man was found to be under the influence of marijuana, in possession of a small amount of the drug and related paraphernalia, police said.
$6,000 theft
BLANCHARD -- A 55-year-old Blanchard man was the victim of a $6,000 theft by deception crime in Liberty Township on Jan. 20, state police at Rockview said.
Larry Parker was contacted by someone who said his information was used during a crime in Texas and he needed to send money via Target gift cards over the phone in order to clear his name, police said.
Parker provided about $6,000 in Target gift cards over the phone to the suspect, police said.
Vandalism
SNOW SHOE -- The restrooms at the Rails to Trails in Snow Shoe Township were vandalized sometime between Jan. 19 and Jan. 20, state police at Rockview said.
Stolen bank card
SPRING MILLS -- Two Spring Mills residents were the victims of an over $400 theft from First National Bank in Bellefonte on Jan. 20, state police at Rockview said.
The victims' bank card was stolen and possibly used to make a $402.76 purchase by two known male suspects, police said.
Charges are pending further investigation, police said.
