BELLEFONTE -- Centre County Coroner Scott A. Sayers has identified the fire victim who died in a fire in his home Monday as Kenneth Matt Fitzgerald.
The cause of death is smoke inhalation and the manner of death is accidental, Sayers said.
Fitzgerald's body was found in the the mobile home where the man lived on Buffalo Run Road in Benner Township after fire destroyed the structure.
A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, which was discovered at 12:05 a.m. Monday and kept dozens of firefighters at the scene for several hours.
