Harassment

BELLEFONTE — A case of harassment was investigated by state police at Rockview on April 26.

According to police, at around 8:30 p.m., state police responded to Chestnut Street in Benner Township, Centre County, for an inactive domestic.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered that a 35-year-old Bellefonte woman had been struck in the face by a 38-year-old Bellefonte man. Both parties were separated for the night without further incident.

Drug possession

SNOW SHOE — A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at Rockview on April 11.

According to police, a 2012 Buick Onclave was stopped at the intersection of East Sycamore Road and Devils Elbow Road in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County.

Police say that a 32-year old Clarence man was stopped and found to be under the influence of drugs and in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Two-vehicle crash

LINDEN — A two-vehicle crash took place around midnight on April 21, state police at Montoursville said.

According to police, Julie Ann Serafini, 42, was traveling south along Pine Run Road in Woodward Township, Lycoming County when she lost control of her 2013 Dodge Dart.

The Dart left the roadway, struck a mailbox and then hit a parked 1979 Mack Truck dump truck. The Dart sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene by Bressler’s Towing. Police were assisted at the scene by the Woodward Township Fire Department.

Theft investigated

FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar investigated a case of theft that took place on James Street in Flemington, Clinton County on April 25.

According to police, a 36-year-old Lock Haven man had a black Ruger Southport valued at $250 and various bills valued at $250, stolen out of his 2011 Ford.

The theft took place around 11:13 a.m., police said.

Drug possession

JERSEY SHORE — On March 31, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police investigated a case of drug possession along old state Route 220 in Jersey Shore.

According to police, Sheldon Spotts, 32, of Jersey Shore, came home to find a county supervised bail officer as well as police conducting a search. They allegedly found a large amount of marijuana, bath salts and drug paraphernalia.
