Two-vehicle crash
JERSEY SHORE -- State police at Lamar investigated a two-vehicle accident that took place on May 9 along Interstate 80 in Greene Township.
According to police, an unnamed driver of a 2020 Hino 268 was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of I-80 West at the milemarker 194 exit ramp and East Valley Road.
A driver of a 2017 Ford Edge was stopped behind the other driver at the stop sign. The first driver allegedly backed up at the stop sign, striking the second driver. Damage to the Hino was minor while damage to the Edge was severe.
No one was hurt in the 1:12 a.m. crash, police said.
One-vehicle crash
MILL HALL -- A one-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at Lamar on June 8.
According to police, Eric Wright, 33, of Bellefonte was traveling along Nittany Valley Drive when he crossed the double yellow line, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. His 2010 Audi A4 sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash. It had to be towed from the scene, police said.
Wright had no injuries as a result of the crash. However, he displayed indicators of impairment, but refused chemical testing and was arrested for DUI and refused chemical testing, according to police.
The crash took place at 9:57 p.m.
Harassment alleged
RENOVO -- A case of harassment was investigatged by state police at Lamar on June 9.
Police say that around midnight, they were called to 300 Huron Ave., in Renovo.
According to police, three people were arrested including Cynthia Croak, 21, of Renovo; Richard Marr, 26, of Renovo; and Donna Roman, 44, of Renovo.
Two-vehicle crash
FLEMINGTON -- A two-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at Lamar on June 9.
According to police, Joshua Phoenix, 36, of Mill Hall, drove through a red light and crashed his 2016 Toyota Tacoma into another driver. That driver was Jordan Lynn, 22, of Lock Haven, who was turning left onto High Street in her 2008 Mercury Mariner.
According to police, both vehicles were found blocking the intersection of High Street and Huston Street. The Mariner was disabled as a result of the accident. It was towed by Martin Motors.
The crash took place at 3:19 p.m., police said.
Overdose investigated
MILL HALL -- An overdose was investigated by state police at Lamar on June 13.
According to police, they reported to Girard Street in Mill Hall for an unresponsive female. Police learned that the woman allegedly overdosed on heroin. She was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by EMS.
The incident took place around 7:15 p.m.
Theft of vehicle parts
LAMAR -- State police at Lamar was received a report of theft of vehicle parts that took place sometime between April 1 and June 14 on Lizardville Road in Lamar.
According to police, a 59-year-old Mill Hall man had his trailer hitch stolen from under his 2012 Sprite camper. The trailer hitch was valued at $100.
The man was not certain of the time when the trailer hitch was stolen.
Disorderly conduct
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar investigated a case of disorderly conduct that took place on June 14.
According to police, around 11:26 a.m., Jesse Brooks, 31, of Mill Hall, became irate about having to pay a deductible to get his phone replaced through insurance at a Verizon store, located at 2 Millbrook Plaza in Bald Eagle Township.
Police say that Brooks allegedly threw his phone at the glass window of the store.
Theft by deception
HOWARD -- State police at Rockview investigated a case of theft by deception that took place on June 10.
According to police, a 43-year-old Howard man received a call by an unknown actor who claimed that he had an active warrant and needed to pay money. Police say the man then purchased two gift cards and gave the numbers to them. The Master Card gift card was valued at $1,000.
The incident took place around noon along old state Route 220 in Boggs Township, police said.
Found property
LOCK HAVEN -- The Woodward Township Police Department found a black colored "drive" knee scooter along Shirk Hollow Road on June 16.
The owner can claim the scooter at the Woodward Towsnhip Police Department, 86 Riverside Terrace in Lock Haven.
