LOCK HAVEN -- On Dec. 10, a large sum of money was found in Lock Haven.
The person who lost the money may contact Lock Haven City Police to identify the writing that was also found with the money.
Simple assault
LOCK HAVEN -- Kaleb Stabley, 25, Lock Haven, was arrested on Dec. 4 for simple assault. Stabley head butted the victim during an argument that causing injury to the victim's nose, Lock Haven City Police said in their report.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN -- Larry Fetter, 70, Lock Haven, has been charged with a PFA violation for contacting the plaintiff when he was prohibited from doing so. Fetter was taken into custody on Dec. 7 by Lock Haven City Police.
Two-car crash
FINLEYVILLE -- A two-car crash at East Union Street in Union Township left a Howard woman with injuries, according to state police at Rockview.
The crash occurred at 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 11 as Kathleen Picarro, 59, of Howard, was traveling west on Chestnut Street in a 2009 Suzuki XL-7 Grand Vitara.
After coming to a stop at a stop sign intersecting with state Route 220, Picarro began to move out onto the highway and was struck by another driver, state police at Rockview said in their report. The other driver of a 2020 Hyundai, Jaimy Horner, 42 of Aaronsburg, was traveling north on state Route 220 as the crash happened.
Picarro's vehicle sustained disabling damage at the 1 o'clock position from being struck by Horner, police said.
Horner's vehicle sustained disabling damage at the 12 o'clock position.
Both operators were evaluated at the scene by EMS and were released. Picarro allegedly sustained a suspected minor injury.
Harassment
LOYALSOCK -- A Jersey Shore woman was arrested by state police at Montoursville following a disturbance at a Loyalsock business.
State police were dispatched to East Third Street in Loyalsock Township for a report of a burglar alarm activation at 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 11.
The alarm was activated following the disturbance between an employee, 43, of Williamsport, and the customer, 47, of Jersey Shore.
Terroristic threats
LOYALSOCK -- A Jersey Shore woman was a victim of a physical altercation and received terroristic threats from her son at East Third Street in Loyalsock, state police at Montoursville report.
State police were dispatched to the location on Dec. 9 at 11:30 a.m., where they arrested the victim's son, 27, of Hughesville.
The incident began as a verbal altercation between the victim and her son when it turned physical. The man made threatening statements toward his mother, police said in their report.
Charges were filed in District Court 29-3-02.
