Theft, criminal mischief
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar responded to Julian Auto Sales at 2610 Eagle Valley Road in Mill Hall for a report of a stolen bumper reflector and criminal mischief.
Police responded to the location on April 12 and discovered during the course of the incident, an unknown actor operating a silver Lexus sedan had parked near the dealership.
The actor was observed looking at a 2005 silver Lexus ES330 which was parked for sale on the lot and they subsequently damaged the vehicle when they attempted to pry off a reflector situated on the passenger side front bumper, police said in their report. The actor then entered their vehicle and fled the area in an unknown direction, according to police.
The bumper reflector is valued at $50.
PFA violation
LAMAR -- A 30-year-old man, of Mill Hall, was arrested by state police at Lamar for violating a protection from abuse order after calling a 16-year-old female victim on April 16.
Charges were filed through magisterial district justice 25-3-02.
Physical harassment
LOGANTON -- A 40-year-old man, of Milton, was arrested for harassment after engaging in a verbal argument which turned physical with a 23-year-old man, of Trout Run.
According to state police at Lamar, on April 15, the verbal altercation between the arrestee and the victim occurred at Nicholas Meats at 508 E. Valley Road.
The arrestee got mad and turned around and punched the victim in the face, police said in their report.
DUI
LOCK HAVEN -- A 21-year-old Jersey Shore man was arrested for DUI after he was pulled over by state police at Lamar for a traffic stop at Bellefonte Avenue and Commerce Street.
Police initiated a traffic stop on the arrestee on April 16 and after a subsequent investigation, he was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Charges for DUI and all related traffic violations were filed through district court 25-3-01.
Underage drinking
LOCK HAVEN -- A 20-year-old man, of Rome, Pa., was arrested for underage drinking at Bellefonte Avenue and Commerce Street.
On April 15, state police at Lamar observed the front seat passenger throw an alcoholic drink out of the vehicle during a traffic stop.
The arrestee subsequently admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and since he was under the age of 21, he was charged for under age drinking through district court 25-3-01.
DUI
CASTANEA -- A 52-year-old Lock Haven man was charged with driving under the influence after he was pulled over for several traffic violations state Route 220 North.
On April 17, state police at Lamar initiated a traffic stop on the arrestee in a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and upon conclusion of the on-scene investigation, they were arrested for DUI.
The investigation is ongoing.
Theft by deception
FLEMINGTON -- State police at Lamar responded to a crime by deception related theft at High Street in Flemington Borough.
On April 15, a 78-year-old Flemington woman reported an unknown actor called her on multiple occasions stating that they were a border patrol agent seeking financial assistance for their family through prepaid gift cards. The victim provided the actor with the information from 12 prepaid gift cards in amounts of up to $500.
Five cards ended up being stolen, valued at a total of $1,800, according to police.
Disorderly conduct
BEECH CREEK -- A 36-year-old Bethlehem man was arrested for disorderly conduct after sending a 26-year-old female victim multiple messages with obscene language on April 8.
The arrestee is known to the victim and they were charged through magisterial district justice 25-3-02, according to state police at Lamar.
