Unemployment fraud
BLANCHARD -- A 62-year-old Blanchard woman was a victim of a fraudulent unemployment claim which was opened in her name.
According to State police at Rockview, there are no leads in the case at this time and no money was taken from the victim.

Physical harassment
BLANCHARD -- Elijah Woodring, 19, of Blanchard, and Steven Gardner, 28, of Blanchard, were cited for physical harassment at 238 Eagleville Road in Liberty Township.
State police at Rockview responded to a report on March 3 and cited both parties.
Drug, paraphernalia
possession
MILESBURG -- Jessica Tressler, 32, of Milesburg, was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession at 307 Owl Street in Milesburg Borough on March 31.
Charges were made by state police at Rockview and filed through magisterial district justice 49-3-02.
Identity theft
HOWARD -- Bradley Musgrave, 32, of Howard, was the victim of identity theft, according to state police at Rockview.
Musgrave reported that sometime between March 27 and March 31, an unknown actor had gained access to his unemployment account and diverted an unemployment check from his account in the amount of $343, police said in their report.
Theft by deception
SNOW SHOE -- John Nastase Construction Inc., located at 104 South Fourth Street in Snow Shoe Borough, was the victim of theft by deception.
Between Dec. 15, 2021 and March 16, the business had sustained a significant financial loss of $98,060.44 as a result of fraudulent accounts posing as vendors that they frequently conduct business with, according to state police at Rockview.
The investigation is ongoing.
