Warrant issued
WOODWARD TOWNSHIP — The Woodward Township Police Department has an outstanding arrest warrant for Mubarik Abdul Graves.
Police are charging Graves with strangulation, aggravated assault and simple assault following an incident that occurred on Friday, April 29, 2022, in Woodward Township.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Woodward Township Police Department at (570) 858-5676.

Theft by deception
BLANCHARD — State police at Lamar responded to a case of theft by deception after a victim was scammed out of $2,011.90 in Liberty Township.
According to police, the victim, 68, of Blanchard, attempted to call Amazon’s customer service on April 20. The victim allegedly called a fraudulent number instead and was scammed out of the money after the unknown actor had her provide her bank account information. The victim then transferred the money onto two American Express gift cards, police said in their report.
The investigation is ongoing.
Theft of phone
MILL HALL — An unnamed suspect allegedly stole a phone from a victim at 225 Pennsylvania Ave., in Bald Eagle Township.
According to state police at Lamar, Aaron Thomas, 30, of Mill Hall, had his phone taken by the suspect after having a verbal argument with them on April 25.
The suspect allegedly left the scene and refused to return the phone, a black Samsung A11 with a sticker on the back. The phone is valued at $150.
Theft
LINDEN — A 47-year-old man, of Jersey Shore, was charged with theft after stealing a wheelchair from a residence at the Harvest Moon Park in Woodward Township, Lycoming County.
According to state police at Montoursville, the man stole the wheelchair, valued at $90. He also took insulin belonging to a 53-year-old Linden woman.
Charges have been filed against the man, police said in their report.
Harassment
RAUCHTOWN — A 39-year-old man, of Lock Haven, was arrested for harassment at a baseball field in Limestone Township.
State police at Montoursville were dispatched to the baseball field for a reported inactive domestic on April 28.
Upon conducting a further investigation, it was determined that a verbal altercation had occurred between multiple individuals regarding child custody, police said in their report.
The altercation allegedly escalated when the man attempted to grab a cell phone belonging to a 28-year-old Williamsport man.
