Theft of cell phone
RENOVO -- Tyler Shelley, 28, of Renovo, was charged with theft after a cell phone was reported stolen at 426 Ontario Ave. in Renovo Borough.
According to state police at Lamar, the victim, Kasandra Goodling, 35, of Renovo, was able to identify Shelley through video surveillance on Sept. 21.
Shelley was located and in possession of the cell phone, police said in their report.
Charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Frank Mills for theft and receiving stolen property.
PFA violation
HANEYVILLE -- Christopher Clausen, 46, of Lock Haven, was charged with violating a PFA along Bear Pen Hollow Road in Gallagher Township.
State police at Lamar responded to the location on Sept. 13. Through and investigation, it was determined that Clausen did commit the violation against a 62-year-old victim, of Lock Haven.
Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Keith Kibler.
Physical harassment
NORTH BEND -- Katie Lindberg, 39, of Renovo, was charged with harassment at 12700 Renovo Road in Chapman Township.
State police at Lamar responded to the Sportsman's Hotel and Restaurant for an active fight on Sept. 21.
Through investigation on the scene, it was determined that Lindberg slapped victims, Joy Embick, 55, of Renovo, and a 44-year-old male, of Renovo, according to police.
Charges for harassment were filed through Magisterial District Judge Frank Mills.
DUI
MILL HALL -- Steven Winner, 53, of Flemington, was charged with DUI at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Hogan Boulevard.
State police at Lamar conducted a traffic stop on Winner on Aug. 26 for a vehicle code violation.
While speaking to Winner, he displayed signs of impairment and was asked to submit field sobriety testing, police said.
Results of the testing indicated impairment and Winner was taken into custody for DUI.
Charges of DUI and related offenses were filed through Magisterial District Judge John Maggs' office.
Inmate dies
WILLIAMSPORT -- On Sept. 21, a male inmate was transported to UPMC Williamsport after an apparent suicide attempt. The inmate was pronounced dead at the emergency room shortly after arrival. This incident was immediately referred to the Lycoming County District Attorney's Office, which has commenced an investigation as is standard protocol.
Prison and county leaders express their condolences to the family at this difficult time.
Theft
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP -- State police at Lamar are investigating the theft of three chainsaws from bucket trucks parked along Seeds Lane in Pine Creek Township.
Police said the theft occurred between 5 p.m. last Thursday (Sept. 22) and 6 a.m. on Friday (Sept. 23). PSP says the victim was PennLine of Scottdale. The three saws were Stihl models with a total value of $1,700. Police also said there was $100 damage to the storage container on the bed of a bucket truck.
According to police, the suspect is believed to be male and possibly wore a black Under Armour jacket, a black beanie and red gloves.

One-vehicle crash
BEECH CREEK -- State police at Lamar were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along Little Sugar Run Road in Beech Creek Township, Clinton County, on Sept. 22.
According to police, a 2010 Subaru Outback being driven by a minor failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch and then a utility pole before rolling onto its roof. Damage was severe in the 6:17 p.m. crash, but no injuries were reported.
Police were assisted at the scene by Halfmoon Towing.
Drug possession
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar were called to Central Mountain High School on Sept. 23 to investigate a case of drug possession.
According to police, two female juveniles -- one from Lock Haven and one from Jersey Shore -- were in possession of drugs at the high school. The incident took place at 2:06 p.m., police said.
Rain causes crash
MILESBURG -- State police at Rockview were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along Interstate 80 in Boggs Township, Centre County on Sept. 19.
According to police, a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling eastbound along I-80 when a severe rain storm began. The rain caused the driver, Keefer Goodspeed, 22, of Watsontown, Pa., to lose control of his vehicle.
The crash took place at 12:17 p.m. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Intimate images
LOGANTON -- State police at Lamar investigated a case of dissemination of intimate images that took place on Sept. 9 along West Winter Road in Logan Township, Clinton County.
According to police, a juvenile from Loganton received inappropriate photos electronically.
The incident was reported at 7 a.m.
Terroristic threats
CENTRE HALL -- State police at Rockview investigated a case of terroristic threats that took place along South Pennsylvania Avenue in Centre Hall Borough, Centre County, on Sept. 20.
According to police, a 46-year-old Pleasant Gap man was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, DUI, disorderly conduct and careless driving.
The victims in the 6:30 p.m. incident were a 40-year-old Pleasant Gap woman, a 73-year-old Centre Hall man, a 65-year-old Centre Hall woman and two males from Bellefonte. Their ages were not released by PSP.
Reckless endangerment
BELLEFONTE -- State police at Rockview investigated a case of reckless endangerment that took place on Aug. 10 in Walker Township, Centre County.
According to police, the alleged incident took place along Benner Road. Police say that no one was harmed as a result of the incident. The incident is ongoing.
Drug possession
STATE COLLEGE -- State police at Rockview investigated a case of drug possession that took place in the 1000 block of East College Avenue in College Township on Aug. 21.
According to police, a traffic stop was initiated on a black Ford Fusion. The driver of the vehicle was not using his headlights during nighttime hours. The driver, Arnold Southerland, 36, of Bellefonte, was charged with drug possession.
The incident took place at 2:15 a.m.
Drug possession
LOCK HAVEN -- State police at Lamar investigated a case of drug possession that took place along Island Road in Dunnstable Township, Clinton County, on Sept. 23.
According to police, a 1998 Ford F-150 XLT was stopped for Title 75 violations. The driver of the vehicle, police say, was in possession of a white crystal substance believed to be drugs. The driver was arrested for DUI and possessing a controlled substance.
Charges will be filed through magisterial district justice 25-3-01.
The incident took place at 8:11 p.m.
Two-vehicle crash
BELLEFONTE -- State police at Rockview investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place along Rishel Hill Road in Benner Township, Centre County, on Aug. 1.
According to police, the vehicles involved were a 2022 Kia Sorento and a 2011 Ford Ranger. The driver of the Sorento was Logan Vonada, 29, of Bellefonte. The driver of the Ranger was Timothy Wian, 59, of Philipsburg.
No other details were reported.
The crash took place at 2:17 p.m.
