Unlawful possession
SALONA -- Raul Guido Jimenez, 30, of Bridgeport, Conn., was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm following a traffic stop along Interstate 80 West near mile marker 1756.
State police at Lamar conducted the stop, involving a 2001 Honda Odyssey, on Oct. 6 at 1:12 p.m.
During the investigation, police found multiple indicators of criminal activity and searched the vehicle, police said.
Jimenez was found in possession of a fire arm unlawfully, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge John Maggs office.
PFA violation
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar are continuing to investigate a possible PFA violation.
On Oct. 6 at 2 p.m., police received reports that Shane Strouse, 33, of Mill Hall, may have violated a protection from abuse order along Eagle Valley Road in Mill Hall Borough, police said.
DUI accident
LAMAR -- Charges related to DUI against a 24-year-old woman are pending following a vehicle accident along Jacksonville Road, Porter Township, on Sept. 27, state police at Lamar said.
The incident occurred at 5:46 a.m. and involved a 2016 Nissan Altima, police said.
Criminal mischief
FLEMINGTON -- State police at Lamar received reports of yard damage along Herr Street in Flemington Borough on Oct. 4.
The incident took place around 8:15 p.m.

Vehicle strikes deer
MILL HALL -- The driver of a 2011 Ford Fusion was not injured after striking a deer along Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township, state police at Lamar said.
The accident occurred on Oct. 8 at 10:44 p.m. as Crystal A. Hollenbach, 56, of Beech Creek, was traveling west on the roadway when a deer entered the roadway, police said.
After striking the deer, Hollenbach pulled off to the right of the roadway, police said.
DUI arrest
LOCK HAVEN -- State police at Lamar arrested a 30-year-old Lock Haven man for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Second Avenue and West Walnut Street in Lock Haven.
The stop occured on Oct. 7 at 8:31 p.m. when police stopped a 2007 Ford for observed Title 75 violations, police said.
After further investigation, the driver, name not listed, was arrested and charges were filed through District Judge Keith Kibler's office.
DUI alcohol, marijuana
BEECH CREEK -- Timothy Brungart, 56, of Beech Creek, admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and smoking marijuana prior to driving along the 200 Block of Main Street in Beech Creek Borough on Sept. 10, state police at Lamar said.
Brungart was stopped at 2:48 a.m. in a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 after police noted several vehicle violations, police said.
During the stop, Brungart showed multiple signs of impairment and took part in a field sobriety test, police said.
Brungart, who was also in possession of marijuana, was taken into custody for DUI and transported to a hospital where he refused chemical testing, police said.
Charges of DUI and possession of marijuana were filed through District Judge John Maggs office, police said.
Scam
HOWARD -- State police at Rockview are currently investigating an incident of theft as a result of a scam involving a 50-year-old Howard woman.
The incident was reported on Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. in Curtin Township. The victim told police $1,700 was taken from her bank account.
Criminal mischief
SNOW SHOE -- State police at Rockview received a report of criminal mischief occurring between 9 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8 a.m. Oct. 6 at Askey Cemetery in Snow Shoe Township.
