Teen possesses weapon
MILL HALL -- A 13-year-old juvenile will face Juvenile Court after being caught with a 7.5 inch double edged dagger at Central Mountain Middle School, according to Mill Hall Police.
The juvenile's actions caused a classroom to be evacuated for the safety of other students, police said.
The juvenile was charged with possession of a weapon on school property and disorderly conduct, police said.
Theft
LOCK HAVEN -- Between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on April 24, a package containing five Samsung Tabs was stolen from a porch in the 600 block of East Bald Eagle Street, according to Lock Haven City Police.
Furnishing drug-free urine
LOCK HAVEN -- Maria Louise Solt, 29, of Lock Haven, was charged with furnishing drug-free urine on April 25, according to Lock Haven City Police.
Solt attempted to use someone else's urine to pass a urinalysis at Clinton County Probation, police said.
Warrant for arrest
LOCK HAVEN -- William Joshua Garrett, 49, of Lock Haven, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Escambia County, Fla., on May 5, after an officer spoke with him, according to Lock Haven City Police.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Department wished to extradite Garrett, so he was placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Drug possession and DUI
ROTE -- A 26-year-old man, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was found in possession of a controlled substance and under the influence during a traffic stop along Interstate 80 West in Lamar Township on May 4, according to state police at Lamar.
Charges are pending blood results.
DUI crash with injury
BEECH CREEK -- Zane Horne, 23, of Meyersdale, was arrested for a DUI-related crash that left him with possible injuries along Halls Run Road in Beech Creek Township, according to state police at Lamar.
Police arrived at the scene of a crash at 5:07 a.m. on May 6 where Horne lost control of his Ford F-250 Supercab while attempting to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.
Horne continued off the left side of the road where he struck an embankment, causing him to become airborne and overturn, police said.
Horne rolled across both lanes of traffic where the vehicle came to a stop on its side, police said. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Bucktail Medical Center for possible minor injuries, police said.
Indecent assault
BEECH CREEK -- Between July 1, 2022 and July 31, 2022, a 31-year-old was a victim of indecent assault in Beech Creek Township, according to state police at Lamar.
Public drunkenness
BEECH CREEK -- A 48-year-old man, of Williamsport, was charged with public drunkenness at the intersection of Main Street and Monument Orviston Road in Beech Creek Borough on May 6, according to state police at Lamar.
Police responded to complaints of the arrestee dancing in the lanes of traffic. An investigation revealed the man was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
The man was issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness and was released to a responsible party, police said.
Retail theft
MILL HALL -- A 53-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, was charged with retail theft along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on April 23, according to state police at Lamar.
The investigation continues.
DUI
FLEMINGTON -- A 62-year-old man, of Flemington, was arrested for driving under the influence during a traffic stop at the intersection of High Street and Hogan Boulevard in Allison Township on May 1, according to state police at Lamar.
The driver was pulled over for a traffic violation where subsequent investigation determined he was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Police are investigating further.
DUI crash
LAMAR -- Benjamin Albarracin Marin, 21, of Bound Brook, N.J., was arrested for a DUI-related crash at 1740 Interstate 80 West in Porter Township on May 4, according to state police at Lamar.
Marin failed to maintain control of his 2015 Dodge Challenger and traveled off the left shoulder of the road, traversing back in a northern direction across both lanes of travel, police said. He continued down an embankment and impacted a tree stump, police said.
The vehicle then rotated counterclockwise and struck a group of trees, where it came to a stop.
Police arrived at the scene at 1:02 a.m., where an investigation was conducted. Upon investigation, it was found that Marin was under the influence of marijuana, a schedule I controlled substance, police said.
Marin was arrested and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
