Assault with knife
BELLEFONTE -- Rony Lopez, 63, of Pleasant Gap, was arrested for assaulting his son, a 33-year-old man, of Pleasant Gap, by slicing his hand with a knife during a domestic incident at 276 West College Avenue in Benner Township on April 30, according to state police at Rockview.
The arrestee sliced his son's hand with a kitchen knife when an argument between them escalated, police said.
Charges of aggravated assault and harassment were filed.
Criminal mischief
ZION -- A 2000 Chevrolet van belonging to a 34-year-old man, of Bellefonte, was shot sometime between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on April 27 at 132 Shady Farm Lane in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.
