Crash with injury
LAMAR — Marck Moise, 26, of New York, sustained suspected minor injury from crashing a 2023 BMW X1 into a guide rail after losing control along Interstate 80 in Porter Township, according to state police at Lamar.
At 7:52 a.m. on June 18, Moise was negotiating a left curve in the left lane along the interstate where he lost control, police said. He continued to leave the roadway via the north berm, striking the guide rail before proceeding about 300 feet in a northeast direction, police said.
The vehicle rolled over where it came to a stop, police said. Moise was examined by Goodwill EMS and declined treatment, police said. Nittany Valley Fire Company and Tressler’s Towing also assisted on the scene.
Criminal mischief
LAMAR — State police at Lamar investigated an incident of criminal mischief involving an unknown suspect who damaged the car door of a vehicle belonging to an 18-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, in a Subway Parking lot along Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township. The damage was caused by the suspect who opened the door of their vehicle which allegedly hit the victim’s door on June 17, police said. Damages accumulated are valued at $500.
State police are investigating.
Two-vehicle crash with injury
HOWARD — Ronald Ammon, 57, of Howard, sustained suspected minor injury after striking his 2020 Chevrolet Trax into a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Howard Moore, 76, of Howard, along Slaughter House Road in Marion Township, according to state police at Rockview.
At 6:03 p.m. on June 18, Ammon crossed over the double yellow line where he then struck Moore’s vehicle, police said. Both units were towed away by Tressler’s Towing.
