Fleeing police
CASTANEA -- Javon Graham, 27, of South Williamsport, was arrested following a crash at the intersection of East Church Street and Jay Street, according to state police at Lamar.
Police attempted to stop Graham after observing Title 75 violations.
Graham allegedly failed to yield and pursuit ensued, police said. He failed to negotiate a turn and crashed his vehicle into a sign and ditch, police said.
Graham was eventually taken into custody after a short on-foot pursuit, police said. He allegedly sustained minor injuries from the crash.
Charges were filed through District Judge Keith Kibler's office.
Harassment
LOCKPORT -- A Woodward Township resident reported he and his wife were harassed by a neighbor and the neighbor's friends on July 17, Woodward Township Police said.
Theft
MILL HALL -- Between June 11 and 21, various coins, valued ay $900; a green ammo box, valued at $25; and $5,000 in $100 bills were stolen from a 70-year-old man, of Plunket Run Road in Bald Eagle Township, according to state police at Lamar.
Motorcycle crash
McELHATTAN -- Jeremy Herr, 42, of Blanchard, sustained serious injuries following a motorcycle crash along state Route 220 in Wayne Township, according to state police at Lamar.
While Herr was traveling in the right lane on a 2002 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide on July 16, a deer entered the roadway from the median and ran into Herr's path, police said.
Herr struck the deer and slid in the right lane for about 256 feet before coming to a stop, police said. He reportedly walked to the grass median before collapsing at the edge of the roadway, police said.
Herr was transported by Lock Haven EMS to UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport to receive treatment for his injuries.
Wayne Township Fire Company, Castanea Township Fire Company and Clinton County Traffic Management also assisted on the scene.
The vehicle sustained minor damage and was able to be driven, however was towed from the scene by Herr's friend, police said.
Hit and run
LAMAR -- Verina Meawad, 26, of Pocono Summit, was operating a 2008 Cadillac STS when the trailer of another vehicle struck her vehicle's rear end along Interstate 80 in Porter Township on July 11, according to state police at Lamar.
Damage was caused to the 6 o'clock position of Meawad's vehicle, police said.
The unknown vehicle with the trailer continued traveling from the scene of the crash, police said.
Meawad's vehicle sustained functional damage and no injuries were sustained, police said.
