Child endangerment
MILL HALL -- Matthew Winchell, 46, of Mill Hall, was allegedly arrested for child endangerment of a 3-year-old female juvenile and a 5-year-old male juvenile, of Mill Hall, along King Arthur Street in Bald Eagle Township on Aug. 1, according to state police at Lamar.
The two juveniles were reported being on Hogan Boulevard with no parent/guardian present, police said.
Upon further investigation, Winchell was located and advised police he was allegedly sleeping and did not know the children got out of the house. He was also allegedly found to be under the influence of marijuana, police said.
Winchell was taken into custody and charged for endangering the welfare of children. He was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
Retail theft
MILL HALL -- A 46-year-old man, of Jersey Mills, was arrested for retail theft after allegedly stealing $125.45 worth of items from the Weis Markets in Mill Hall at 6 Millbrook Plaza in Bald Eagle Township between June 28 and July 19, according to state police at Lamar.
The arrestee was seen on security footage allegedly committing the theft. He was charged with three counts of felony retail theft and charges were filed through Judge John Maggs's office, police said..
Drug paraphernalia possession
LOGANTON -- Przemyslaw Gryczewski, 40, of Robbinsville, N.J., was charged with drug paraphernalia possession following a welfare check at 1939 Interstate 80 East in Greene Township on Aug. 6, according to state police at Lamar.
Through the investigation, drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view and Gryczewski was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant, police said.
Charges were filed through Judge John Maggs's office.
