ROTE -- James A. Biederman, formally of Mill Hall, was apprehended on Sept. 22 in Louisville, Ky., by Louisville Metro Police Department fugitive task force after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash on Auction Road in Lamar Township, injuring a victim, back on March 10, 2021, according to Mill Hall Police.
A short time after fleeing the original scene, Biederman was located in Mill Hall Borough and found to be intoxicated, police said. He was charged with felony DUI, accidents involving death or injury and related summary offenses, police said.
Biederman fled the state several days later, according to reports.
Biederman remains in the Metro Department of Corrections in Louisville while he awaits extradition back to Pennsylvania, police said.
