Dog law violations
RENOVO -- Erin Tripp, 31, of Renovo, was charged with several dog law violations on Sept. 9, including confinement of dogs, having an unlicensed dog and having an unvaccinated dog for rabies, after her dog allegedly bit a juvenile, according to Renovo Police.
The incident took place after Tripp's dog ran from her residence along Ontario Avenue in Renovo and bit the juvenile, police said.
Misbranding of suboxone
LOCKPORT -- William E. Snyder, Jr., 37, of Lock Haven, was arrested for misbranding suboxone pills in an unlabeled container on Sept. 8 at 5 Crist Lane in Lock Haven, according to Woodward Township Police. The violation was an ungraded misdemeanor and the criminal complaint was filed and handled via summons, police said.
Theft of items
BELLEFONTE -- Several items were stolen from two juvenile males, of Bellefonte, from the Bald Eagle High School Basketball court along South Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview.
At 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 20, the two victims left their belongings: a basketball, soccer ball, Nike socks and a drawstring bag, in the court while they walked to Sheetz, police said.
As they left, a black Kia with a red top drove to the basketball court where two white juvenile kids and a white female, appearing to be the mother, walked into the court and allegedly stole the belongings before driving away, police said.
The vehicle drove towards Milesburg, police said.
Anyone with information on who may own a black Kia with a red top is asked to contact state police and reference incident number: PA23-1085409.
Drug paraphernalia
BELLEFONTE -- On Aug. 27, Carly Johnson, 26, of Osceola Mills, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and through investigation during a traffic stop at the intersection of North Thomas and West Lamb Street, she was found to have a suspended driver's license, according to state police at Rockview.
Runaway juveniles found
RENOVO -- A 15-year-old male juvenile and a 13-year-old female juvenile, both of Renovo, were reported as runaways on Sept. 4 and were located safely the next day, according to state police at Lamar.
Two-vehicle crash
LOCKPORT -- Keylye Mosier, 29, of Bellefonte, sustained suspected minor injuries from a crash allegedly stemming from a road rage incident at the intersection of Coudersport Pike and King Street in Woodward Township, according to state police at Lamar.
At 11:55 a.m. on Sept. 3, a 1992 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Stephen Ellis, 57, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on Coudersport Pike at a slow speed due to the vast amount of people and vehicles present for local festivities, police said.
Mosier proceeded to pass Ellis in an illegal and reckless manner on his 2009 Suzuki Sport Bike, rounded a blind turn and then came to a sudden stop in the travel lane, police said. Ellis allegedly did not have time to react and crashed into Mosier.
Mosier was not treated or transported for his injury, according to police. He was wearing a helmet during the incident.
Retail theft
MILL HALL -- A 45-year-old Jersey Shore woman was arrested for retail theft at Walmart along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Sept. 4, according to state police at Lamar. The arrestee allegedly stole $145.72 worth of various items from the store.
Charges were filed through District Judge John Maggs' office.
Open lewdness, corruption of minors and other related charges
MILL HALL -- Scott Peluso, 47, of Mill Hall, was arrested for flashing his neighbors, a 37-year-old Mill Hall man, and a 12-year-old Mill Hall juvenile, along King Arthur Drive in Bald Eagle Township, according to state police at Lamar.
Peluso allegedly exposed his genitals and buttocks to his neighbors for no particular reason at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 4, police said.
Peluso was charged with corruption of minors, open lewdness, indecent exposure, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed through District Judge John Maggs' office.
