Theft of property
BEECH CREEK -- State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged theft of several bank cards, a social security card and two $100 bills from a 63-year-old Lock Haven man from Wynn Avenue in Beech Creek Borough on Sept. 3.
DUI-crash
RENOVO -- A 51-year-old North Bend man was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle along Renovo Road in Grugan Township on Sept. 1, according to state police at Lamar. Charges are pending blood results.
Crash
RENOVO -- Lesa Jenkins, 65, of Uniontown, Ohio, crashed her 2013 Hyundai Elantra after leaving the roadway of Tamarack Road around 3:07 p.m. on Sept. 10, according to state police at Lamar.
The tires of Jenkins's vehicle went into a small gravel ditch on the right side of the road and the vehicle proceeded to lose control, police said. She continued to strike a mailbox on the right side of the road, police said.
Jenkins was not injured from the crash but her vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Walk's Service Center, police said.
DUI
MILL HALL -- A 26-year-old man, of Lock Haven, was charged with driving under the influence after state police at Lamar observed Title 75 violations along Pennsylvania Avenue in Mill Hall Borough on Sept. 11. He was arrested after an investigation was conducted.
Charges will be filed through District Judge John Maggs.
DUI-crash and fleeing the scene
MILL HALL -- A 25-year-old Mill Hall man was arrested after fleeing a DUI-related crash prior to response by state police at Lamar at 1090 US220 South in Bald Eagle Township on Sept. 10.
The operator was located a short time later and taken into custody for DUI.
Charges are pending chemical test results.
Retail theft and
possession of
controlled substance
MILL HALL -- A 28-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing about $66 worth of items from the Mill Hall Walmart at 167 Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Sept. 10, according to state police at Lamar. She was also allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance, police said.
