Theft
LOCK HAVEN — The Woodward Township police department is currently investigating an incident of gas being stolen from a carport in a home along Coudersport Pike.
Police received a report on Sept. 9, that a 5 gallon gas can, full of gasoline, was removed from the home, valued at $50, police said.
Township police have a suspect and are continuing to investigate, police said.
Two vehicle crash with injury
LOCKPORT — A two vehicle crash occurred in Woodward Township after one driver attempted to miss striking a dog in the roadway, Woodward Township Police said.
Scott Grow, 22, of Lock Haven, was traveling in the 500 block of Woodward Avenue on Sept. 26 when he swerved to miss the dog, police said.
Grow’s vehicle was struck by a 2019 Buick Encore, driven by Cheryl Varner, 76, of Lock Haven, who was unable to avoid the impact, police said.
A passenger in Grow’s vehicle, Alexis Grow, 24, of Lock Haven, suffered a possible minor injury due to the crash, police said.
The dog was determined to have jumped out from a moving vehicle driven by David Sprulin, Jr., 33, of Lock Haven, that was moving in the opposite direction, police said.
All vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
DUI-crash
RAUCHTOWN — A 24-year-old Williamsport man was arrested for driving under the influence following a crash at 4100 state Route 44 South in Limestone Township on Aug. 29, according to state police at Montoursville.
The driver allegedly displayed signs of alcohol impairment, police said.
Two vehicle crash
DUNNSTABLE — State police at Lamar are currently investigating a two vehicle crash that took place in the area of 463 Island Road in Dunnstable Township.
According to police, an unnamed driver of an unnamed vehicle (unit 1) was traveling Eastbound on Island Road while an unnamed driver drove a motorcycle (unit 2) Westbound.
As unit 1 turned north into a driveway, unit 2 collided with the passenger side of the vehicle in the westbound lane of travel, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle was injured and transported to UPMC Williamsport Hospital, the operator of unit 1 was not injured, police said.

DUI-related crash
LOCK HAVEN — An 18-year-old, of Lock Haven, was arrested for driving under the influence on July 17 at about 9:27 p.m. after he was driving on South Jones Street and hit a parked car, rolling his own vehicle over, according to Lock Haven Police.
The driver was found to be intoxicated, police said.
DUI-related crash
LOCK HAVEN — A 29-year-old, of Lock Haven, was arrested for driving under the influence on Aug. 25 at about 8:30 a.m. after having a motor vehicle accident in the area of Second Avenue and Woods Avenue, according to Lock Haven Police.
The driver was found to be the operator of the crashed vehicle and ,during the investigation, was found to be intoxicated, police said.
DUI and fleeing police
LOCK HAVEN — Curt Darling, 19, of Sugar Grove, was allegedly arrested for fleeing or eluding police, driving under the influence, defiant trespass and related summary offense on Sept. 3 at about 2:24 a.m. after Lock Haven Police officers attempted to stop him for a traffic offense.
Darling refused to stop, ran through a fence at the end of the Piper Airport runway and continued onto the runway, police said.
Once he stopped, it was found that he was intoxicated, police said.
Harassment
LOCK HAVEN — Jamal Pruden, 39, of Lock Haven, was arrested for harassment, disorderly conduct and use of tobacco in schools, according to Lock Haven City Police.
On Sept. 6 at approximately 7:30 a.m., an officer observed a verbal argument between Pruden and another individual in front of Robb Elementary School.
Pruden was also smoking on school property which is what caused the argument, police said.
Disorderly conduct
LOCK HAVEN — Anaise Valdez, 31, of Lock Haven, was cited with disorderly conduct after getting into a verbal argument with an individual in front of Robb Elementary School on Sept. 6, according to Lock Haven Police.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN — Capree Elliott, 32, of Lock Haven, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on Sept. 6 after he was seen at a residence he was excluded from by the PFA, according to Lock Haven Police.
Hit and run crash-DUI related
LOCK HAVEN — A 52-year-old Windburne man was arrested for driving under the influence after causing a hit and run crash in the area of West Bald Eagle Street and South Summit Street at about 5:45 p.m. on Sept. 8, according to Lock Haven Police.
The vehicle was located and the driver was identified as the vehicle’s operator, police said. During an investigation, he was allegedly found to be intoxicated, police said.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN — Alexander Lehman, 31, of Jersey Shore, was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order on Sept. 14 after he messaged and attempted to call a protected party of the PFA and then went to an address that he was excluded from, according to Lock Haven Police.
Aggravated assault
LOCK HAVEN — Joshua Furl, 40, of Lock Haven, was arrested for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness on Sept. 17 after Lock Haven Police officers conducted a welfare check.
Allegedly, Furl aggressively approached the officer, hitting one in the face, knocking his glasses off, breaking them, police said.
Furl then resisted officers’ attempts to take him into custody and was drunk at the time, police said.
Disorderly conduct
LOCK HAVEN — Christie Verne, 39, of Lock Haven, and Caitlin Donovan, 36, of Lock Haven, were both cited with disorderly conduct on Sept. 17 after they were in a verbal argument in front of a residence in the 500 block of East Bald Eagle Street, according to Lock Haven Police.
Harassment
LOCK HAVEN — A 15-year-old female juvenile was cited with harassment on Sept. 21 after allegedly attacking her mother and brothers in the 100 block of Commerce Street, according to Lock Haven Police.
Furnishing drug-free urine
LOCK HAVEN — Megan Hunter, 39, of Beech Creek, was allegedly arrested for furnishing drug-free urine on Sept. 22 after she attempted to use her toddler’s urine to pass a drug test with adult probation, according to Lock Haven Police.
