Failing to secure large dog
ROTE -- Thomas Rossman, Jr., of Lamar Township, was cited for allegedly failing to keep a large dog secured so that it didn’t leave his property, according to Mill Hall Police.
On Oct. 5, Rossman was given a warning after his dog left his property and chased a neighbor into her house, police said.
On Oct. 7, the same dog once again was allegedly unsecured and unsupervised when the dog ran across East End Mountain Road to another property, chasing the property owner causing her to scream, police said.
Another person at the same property allegedly displayed a knife to protect the female from the pursuing dog in case it attacked, police said.
The dog eventually returned to Rossman's property and a citation was filed through District Court Judge John Maggs's office.
Active warrants
and drug possession
BELLEFONTE -- Nathan Rohrabaugh, 39, of State College, was charged with drug possession after he was found with active warrants during a traffic stop at the intersection of Reichenbaugh Lane and Edward Drive in Benner Township, according to state police at Lamar.
He allegedly had active warrants out of Centre County, police said.
During the course of the traffic stop, Rohrabaugh allegedly displayed indicators he was under the influence of a controlled substance and found to be in possession of drugs and related paraphernalia, police said.
Theft of money
SNOW SHOE -- State police at Rockview are investigating a theft that took place along East Park Avenue in Snow Shoe Township that resulted in $99.99 being stolen from a 75-year-old Snow Shoe woman, on Oct. 4.
