Theft of cash
LOCKPORT -- $785 in cash was stolen from a wallet belonging to a 37-year-old Lock Haven man on Oct. 8 from German Road in Woodward Township, according to state police at Lamar. The owner wanted to discontinue the investigation, police said.

LOCKPORT -- Matthew Szostek, 37, of Lock Haven, was allegedly charged with robbery of a prepaid cell phone and case during a physical altercation with two victims, a 46-year-old Lock Haven woman and a 34-year-old Lock Haven woman, at 209 German Road in Woodward Township on Oct. 8, according to state police at Lamar. Charges have been filed.
Sneakers stolen
RENOVO -- Tyler Shelley, 29, of Renovo was arrested for allegedly stealing sneakers. According to Renovo Police, on Oct. 17 Shelley is alleged to have stolen a pair of sneakers from the Goodwill store in Renovo Borough. Two other people attempted to distract the employee while Shelley changed his shoes out with a pair of shoes for sale, and then walked from the store without paying for them. Shelley was charged with retail theft of the sneakers that were valued at $7.99.
Vodka stolen
RENOVO -- Michael Bailey, 29, of Renovo, was issued a summons for retail theft for allegedly stealing a bottle of vodka from the Fine Wine and Good Spirits store in Renovo Borough. According to Renovo Police, Bailey is alleged to have stolen the bottle of liquor by concealing it under his clothing on Oct. 7.
The vodka was valued at $7.29.
