Police investigate alleged inappropriate conduct by multiple female employees at CM Middle School

MILL HALL -- Late last week, the Clinton County District Attorney's Office and Mill Hall Borough Police received a report alleging that a middle school student had been engaged in inappropriate contact with several adult female staff members at Central Mountain Middle School.

According to a release from the District Attorney's office, this contact has not been alleged to have occurred on school property or during school hours. The matter remains under investigation by Mill Hall Borough Police.

"Law enforcement has been informed that all staff members associated with the investigation, except one individual who is no longer with the district, have been placed on leave by Keystone Central School District," the release stated.

Further comment will be made upon the conclusion of the investigation.

"Please note that the above release is a statement on the status of an active investigation and in no way should be interpreted as a conclusion of guilt. All individuals alleged, suspected or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a Court of Law," the release states.
