Strangulation
RENOVO -- Michell Coover, 28, of Milesburg, was charged with strangulation of his ex-girlfriend, 32, of Renovo, at a residence along Susquehanna Avenue in South Renovo Borough on Oct. 20, according to state police at Lamar.
Police arrived at the residence around 10:57 a.m. for a domestic incident where investigation revealed the victim was allegedly put in a chokehold by Coover, cutting off her ability to breathe.
Appropriate charges were filed through District Court Judge Frank Mills's office.
Harassment
FLEMINGTON -- Randy Moody, 34, of Beech Creek, was charged with harassment for an incident against a 32-year-old Lock Haven woman in the area of James Street in Beech Creek on Oct. 28, according to state police at Lamar. Appropriate charges were filed through District Court Judge John Maggs's office.
DUI-crash
MILL HALL -- A 52-year-old Mill Hall man was charged with driving under the influence after backing his vehicle into another vehicle at 167 Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Sept. 26, according to state police at Lamar. Through further investigation, he was taken into custody.
Disorderly conduct
MILL HALL -- A 16-year-old female juvenile, of Jersey Shore, was a victim of threatening statements by other students at Central Mountain High School, at 64 Keystone Central Drive in Bald Eagle Township, on Oct. 6, according to state police at Lamar.
Police are investigating the incident.
Crash
NORTH BEND -- Seth Colyer, 35, of Mifflin, crashed a 2006 Freightliner Tri-Axle dump truck into a culvert while traveling along Renovo Road in East Keating Township.
At 9:29 a.m. on Oct. 27, Colyer failed to negotiate a left curve in the road and left the north side, striking the culvert, police said. The vehicle continued in the culvert about 40 yards prior to rolling onto its passenger side, police said.
There were no injuries reported from the crash and towing was provided by Parson's Towing.
Harassment
BELLEFONTE -- A 14-year-old male juvenile, of Bellefonte, was cited with harassment of another 14-year-old male juvenile, of Julian, at Bald Eagle Area High School along South Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township on Oct. 27, according to state police at Rockview.
Two-vehicle crash with injury
BELLEFONTE -- David Spanggaard, 50, of Bellefonte, sustained a suspected back injury due to getting rear ended by a 2018 Kubota Tractor SSV65 while traveling along Weight's Lane in Marion Township, according to state police at Rockview.
The crash took place at 10:39 a.m. on Oct. 27 as Colby Gummo, 29, of Howard, was moving a bail of hay with his tractor and allegedly could not fully see in front of it. Spanggaard was operating a Grumman LLV USPS mail vehicle and was stopped with his hazard lights on while he was rearranging mail.
Gummo proceeded to allegedly rear end Spanggaard, causing minor damage, police said. He was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for his suspected back injury, police said.
Both vehicles were drivable and Howard Fire Company assisted at the scene.
