Two-vehicle crash
LOGANTON -- Anthony Adamcheck, 24, of Newton, Conn., struck his 2023 Honda Civic into a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Robert Tucker, 58, of Carrollton, Ohio, as he attempted to pass him along Interstate 80 in Greene Township, according to state police at Lamar.
At about 12:39 p.m. on Jan. 9, Adamcheck failed to pass Tucker's vehicle, striking it at the nine o'clock position and causing minor damage to its trailer, police said.
Adamcheck left the highway where he crashed his vehicle into an embankment at mile marker 185, police said.
Disabling damage was caused to the front end of his vehicle.
Two vehicle crash
LOGANTON -- Sanford Magenheim, 65, of Livingston, N.J., crashed his 2024 Mazda CX-30 into a guide rail while traveling along North Mill Street in Greene Township on Jan. 11, according to state police at Lamar.
At about 2:02 a.m., Magenheim was in the right hand lane of travel when he left the right side of the road, traveled down an exit ramp and passed through an intersection, police said.
He then struck a guide rail where the vehicle came to a stop, police said.
No injuries were sustained from the crash.
Two-vehicle crash
LOGANTON -- Larry Long, Jr., 55, of Ephrata, lost control of his 2005 International Harvester 8600 SBA due to bad road conditions on Jan. 9 and struck the rear of a 2006 Jeep Commander, driven by Michael Sheasley, 46, of Loganton, according to state police at Lamar.
At about 1:37 p.m., Long lost control of his vehicle and proceeded sideways, eventually entering the opposite lane where he struck Sheasleys' vehicle, police said.
Following the collision, Long continued off the roadway to the west and traveled back onto the road, crossing both lanes, police said.
During this, he allegedly struck multiple trees until coming to a stop, police said.
Long's vehicle was towed from the scene by Eagle Towing and Sheasley's vehicle was towed away by Bressler's Towing. No injuries were reported.
Crash
ROTE -- Jodeci Chasen, 32, of Howard, struck her 2012 Chrysler Town and Country into a tree while traveling along Nittany Valley Drive in Lamar Township on Jan. 9, according to state police at Lamar.
At about 9:42 a.m., Chasen was driving at around 10 miles per hour when she allegedly failed to negotiate a right hand curve off the roadway where she struck the tree, police said.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Lions Automotive and no injuries had resulted from the crash, police said.
DUI
LAMAR -- A 64-year-old man, of Howard, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop at the intersection of Nittany Valley Drive and Interstate 80 East in Porter Township, according to state police at Lamar.
The arrestee was pulled over at about 10:39 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2023 for alleged title 75 violations.
Upon investigation, it was determined he was under the influence, police said.
Discharge of firearm
RENOVO -- Renovo Police are investigating an incident in the 700 block of Huron Avenue in Renovo where a person was reported to have shot a firearm through the door of an occupied building during the evening of Jan. 4.
Criminal mischief
RENOVO -- Renovo Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred during the overnight hours between Jan. 4 and Jan. 5 where a victim allegedly had his vehicle "egged" while parked in the 400 block of Erie Avenue.
Theft
RENOVO -- On Jan. 11, a known 48-year-old male suspect was seen stealing a nominal amount of property, sleeping in a business and creating a disorderly scene in the 1300 block of Huron Avenue Renovo Borough, according to Renovo Police.
Prosecution was declined and the male was removed from the premises, police said.
Corruption of minors
RENOVO -- Between the dates of November 1, 2023 and Dec. 19, 2023, the Renovo Police Department investigated a ChildLine report of a 36-year-old woman providing marijuana to a juvenile on 9th Street in Renovo Borough.
Police determined after the investigation the allegations warranted charges approved by the District Attorney, police said.
Heather Miles, of Renovo, was charged with corruption of minors and distribution of marijuana not for sale, police said.
Arson investigation
RENOVO -- Renovo Police are investigating a case of arson and criminal trespass in which someone started a fire inside an abandoned building along Industrial Park Road in Renovo Borough.
This was allegedly discovered by a police officer on patrol on Jan. 15 at about 6 p.m. and was extinguished by the Renovo Fire Department, police said.

Theft of packages
LOCK HAVEN -- Lock Haven City Police received two reports of package thefts in the city.
The first incident involved a package containing baby toys stolen from a residence in the 300 block of East Main Street between Jan. 3 and Jan. 11, according to police.
The second involved a package containing dog toys stolen from a residence in the 500 block of East Bald Eagle Street on Jan. 12, police said.
Theft from vehicle
LOCK HAVEN -- Between Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, a vehicle was sitting in the 600 block of East Church Street and a wallet was allegedly taken from it, according to Lock Haven Police.
Tires slashed
LOCK HAVEN -- Between Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, a vehicle's tire was slashed in the 600 block of East Bald Eagle Street, according to Lock Haven Police.
DUI
LOCK HAVEN -- A 26-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, was charged with driving under the influence on Nov. 5, 2023 after a hit and crush in the 500 Block of East Park Street, according to Lock Haven Police.
The arrestee was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was allegedly found to be under the influence of methamphetamine, police said.
Disorderly conduct
LOCK HAVEN -- A 19-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, was cited for disorderly conduct on Nov. 13, 2023, when she waited outside of the Dollar General for another female, Lock Haven City Police said.
She allegedly then went inside and confronted the female which turned into a physical altercation, police said.
Harassment
LOCK HAVEN -- Scott Barnes, 50, of Lock Haven, was arrested for harassment on Dec. 10, 2023 for yelling threats through his apartment wall, in the 600 block of East Bald Eagle Street at his neighbor, causing them alarm, according to Lock Haven City Police.
Harassment
LOCK HAVEN -- Jennifer Gardner, 28, of Lock Haven was arrested for harassment on Jan. 5 for allegedly yelling profanities at a victim in the area of 600 block of East Bald Eagle Street, according to Lock Haven City Police.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN -- Harry Braim III, 37, of Lock Haven, was arrested for a protection from abuse violation on Jan. 11 when he allegedly spoke with a protected party of a PFA on the phone, according to Lock Haven City Police.
Possession of marijuana
LOCK HAVEN -- Zakariya Hall, 18, of Lock Haven, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and false reports on Jan. 13 after Lock Haven Police Officers allegedly witnessed a crash at the intersection of Bellefonte Avenue and North Fairview Street.
The occupants of the vehicle then fled on foot, police said.
Hall was identified as being one of the occupants by police, even though he and the driver both allegedly denied it, police said.
He was allegedly also in possession of marijuana at the time of the crash, police said.
DUI and crash
LOCK HAVEN -- A 36-year-old woman, of Lock Haven, was arrested for driving under the influence during a traffic stop at the intersection of East Church Street and North Vesper Street after committing multiple traffic violations, according to state police at Lamar.
During the traffic stop at about 2:26 a.m. on Jan. 13, the arrestee was found to have been involved in a crash on the corner of North Vesper Street and East Church Street, police said. She allegedly showed indicators of impairment and was arrested, police said.
Chemical testing was completed and criminal charges are pending results, police said.
