PSP investigate harassment

cases in county

State police at Lamar have investigated multiple incidents of harassment since the beginning of January.

Robert Koch, 52, of Thomasville, and Angela Koch, 37, of Montoursville, were arrested for harassment following a physical domestic dispute between them in a vehicle at the intersection of Hogan Boulevard and Mill Hall Road in Bald Eagle Township, according to police.

At about 1:39 p.m. on Jan. 5, the vehicle was stopped at the intersection where police observed the incident.

Two non-traffic citations were filed through District Court Judge Heidi Wright’s office.

In another incident, a 23-year-old man, of Lock Haven, and a 19-year-old man, of Lock Haven, were charged with harassment after a domestic dispute along High Street in Flemington Borough on Jan. 5, according to police.

Two non-traffic citations were filed through District Court Judge Keith Kibler’s office, police said.

In another case, a 56-year-old woman, of Muncy, was charged with harassment on Jan. 6 due to making harassing statements toward a known victim over a few days in Beech Creek Township, police said.

The statements were allegedly confirmed by witnesses. The arrestee was charged through District Court Judge Heidi Wright’s office.

In another incident, a 34-year-old man, of Mill Hall, was charged with harassment following a domestic incident where he allegedly pushed a 30-year-old woman, of Mill Hall, during an argument in Porter Township, police said. He was cited through District Court Judge Heidi Wright’s office.

Two-vehicle crash

CASTANEA — A two vehicle crash took place at the Lock Haven on-ramp in Castanea Township where Mureena Frey, 53, of Jersey Shore, struck her 2013 General Motors Terrain into a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Joseph Bucha, 44, of Clarence, according to state police at Lamar.

The incident took place at about 1:53 p.m. on Jan. 5 when Frey attempted to merge onto the ramp of state Route 220 near the Lock Haven Exit while Bucha was traveling in the merge lane, police said.

When Frey failed to yield at a properly posted sign, she drove into the path of Bucha’s vehicle, police said.

Witnesses on the scene observed Frey did not slow down at the yield sign and pushed the other vehicle off the roadway after striking it, police said.

Theft by deception

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating a theft by deception report which resulted in a 65-year-old man, of Loganton, getting scammed out of $1,850 from two checks on Jan. 5.

PFA violation

MILL HALL — Jerome Billups, 43, of Middleburg, was charged with violating a protection from abuse order on Jan. 1 along Danis Street in Mill Hall Borough, according to state police at Lamar.

The arrestee was placed into the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.

Theft of mislaid cash

MILL HALL — A 57-year-old man, of Beech Creek, was arrested after stealing money from another customer at the Mill Hall Walmart along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township, state police at Lamar said.

On Jan. 1, a 67-year-old woman, of Gallatin, Tenn., allegedly used the self-checkout at the store and selected the cash back option during the purchase. She then forgot to retrieve her money from the machine, where the arrestee, who was behind her, took the money and left the store, police said.

Police are investigating the incident further.

Theft by deception

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating a report of a theft by deception incident where $315,000 was allegedly stolen from a 70-year-old woman, of Mill Hall, on Dec. 28, 2023.

Criminal trespass

MILL HALL — Felicia Leonard, 38, of South Williamsport, was arrested for trespassing in her ex-boyfriend’s home at the intersection of Lionel Lane and Sagamore Drive, and refused to leave the property, according to state police at Lamar.

At 5:27 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2023, police arrived at the residence for a welfare check. In the process, the ex-boyfriend, 45, of Mill Hall, said the arrestee would not leave.

Police then instructed her to leave the property and she allegedly refused, police said.

Leonard was then taken to the Clinton County Prison after failing to comply, police said.

Criminal mischief

LAMAR — State police at Lamar are investigating a criminal mischief incident where an unknown suspect tampered with a Reefer trailer while it was parked in a lot at 5600 Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township on Dec. 25, 2023.
