BELLEFONTE -- A husband, 39, of Milesburg, and wife, 36, also of Milesburg, were charged with harassment following a screaming altercation at a residence along Water Street in Milesburg Borough on Dec. 25, 2023, according to state police at Lamar.
Terroristic threats, criminal trespass, simple assault and
related charges
LOCK HAVEN -- Michael Nelson, 21, of Lock Haven, was arrested for endangering the welfare of children, strangulation, simple assault and terroristic threats on Dec. 24, 2023 when he got into an argument with his girlfriend, and during the argument, shook a four-month-old female and held a blanket over his girlfriend's mouth and nose impeding her breathing, Lock Haven Police said.
Nelson then allegedly threatened to kill both his girlfriend and the four-month-old with a knife, which he was holding, and cut the girlfriend's hands. He was taken into custody by officers.
In a separate incident at 11:59 p.m. on the same day, Nelson was arrested for criminal trespass when he used a brick to break the glass door at a residence along East Bald Eagle Street. He proceeded to enter the building when he was not authorized to do so, police said.
DUI on cocaine and possession
LOCK HAVEN -- Karen Mace, 43, of Renovo, was allegedly arrested for driving under the influence, endangering the welfare of children and possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 17, 2023, when she drove her vehicle, with her two children in it, while under the influence of cocaine, according to Lock Haven Police.
She was in possession of cocaine when she was taken into custody, police said.
Forgery
LOCK HAVEN -- Brian Murphy, 39, of Lock Haven, was arrested for forgery and theft on Dec. 12, 2023, when Murphy altered the writing on a check he received for someone else, according to Lock Haven Police. He allegedly changed the name on the check to himself and then he cashed the check.
Trespassing and
criminal mischief
LOCK HAVEN -- James Tomaini, 55, of Lock Haven, was allegedly arrested for defiant trespass, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on Dec. 15, 2023, at 7:46 a.m. after trespassing at the Sons of Italy and drove through their parking lot, according to Lock Haven Police. He allegedly then used his truck to back into a concrete barrier in the parking lot, moving it and causing damage to the blacktop.
Possession of child porn
LOCK HAVEN -- Daniel Troast, 32, of Lock Haven, was arrested for the alleged possession of child pornography on Dec. 21, 2023, according to Lock Haven Police. A search warrant was executed on Troast's computer where it was found to contain child pornography following a tip given to police.
Impersonation and receiving stolen property
LOCK HAVEN -- Travis Klinger, 37, of Williamsport, was allegedly arrested for receiving stolen property, impersonating a public servant and attempted theft by deception on Dec. 15, 2023.
Klinger went to the Lucky 7 Travel Plaza and attempted to have the employees open the fuel pump by giving the employee a note, stating that he works for the FBI. When officers spoke with him, it was found that the vehicle he was allegedly attempting to fill with gas was a stolen vehicle out of Williamsport.
Simple assault
LOCK HAVEN -- A 13-year-old male juvenile, of Lock Haven, was arrested for simple assault on Dec. 21, 2023 when he was at the skate park and struck another 13-year-old male 24 times and kicked him once in the head, face, shoulder and side, police said.
Burglary, terroristic threats
and related offenses
LOCK HAVEN -- Dannis Tibbens, 53, of Lock Haven, was arrested for burglary, terroristic threats, evading arrest on foot and related offenses.
On Dec. 24, 2023, Tibbens entered an occupied residence without being invited to confront a family about taking his parking spot. He allegedly threatened the family by saying he was going to go get his gun, which was in his vehicle.
When officers arrived, Tibbens allegedly attempted to flee, resulting in officers tasing him.
Possession and intent
to deliver
LOCK HAVEN -- Ryan Stasko, 29, of Lock Haven, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and recklessly endangering another person.
On Dec. 28, 2023, an employee from the Lock Haven City Water Department received payment for a water bill that had a white powdery substance on the payment. The substance tested positive for cocaine and the payment was allegedly made by Stasko.
A search warrant was executed on Stasko's residence and officers located five one-gallon zip lock bags and three other large bags of marijuana, a Rubbermaid container containing cocaine, $2,690 in cash, four glass smoking devices and numerous pipes with burn marks.
