Theft of firearm
RENOVO -- State police at Lamar are investigating the theft of a firearm that took place between Dec. 12, 2023 and Dec. 18, 2023.
According to police, a Glock 43X, valued at $450, was stolen from a 76-year-old Renovo woman between Kettle Creek Road, Leidy Township and Geisinger Danville during that time.
Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.
Found drugs
BEECH CREEK -- On Dec. 28, 2023 at 9:31 p.m., state police at Lamar were called to Main Street in Beech Creek Borough for a report of found drugs.
Officers recovered suspected cocaine, valued at $25, in a small plastic bag from the location, police said.
Possible theft
FLEMINGTON -- State police at Lamar responded to reports of a theft in Flemington Borough on Dec. 5, 2023.
Through an investigation, it was found the reported $50,000 taken from an 85-year-old Flemington man's account was invested into a CD and no crime had occurred, police said.
Stalking
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of stalking/harassment that occurred at a victim's residence in Bald Eagle Township on Dec. 21, 2023.
Domestic incident
MILL HALL -- A 31-year-old Mill Hall man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, discharge of firearm into an occupied structure and simple assault along with other related charges following an incident along Renovo Road, Allison Township, state police at Lamar said.
On Feb. 15, police responded to reports of a domestic incident involving a firearm. The man was subsequently taken into custody and committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Two vehicle crash
MILL HALL -- The driver of a 2020 Mazda CX-5 suffered suspected minor injuries following a two vehicle crash along Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, on Dec. 28, 2023, state police at Lamar said.
Sheena C. Myers, 38, of Mill Hall, was in the center lane with her passengers, a 12-year-old girl, of Mill Hall, a 7-year-old boy, of Lock Haven, a 6-year-old girl, of Mill Hall, and a 4-year-old girl, of Mill Hall, when she stopped her 2008 Buick Enclave at a redlight, police said.
Donna R. Bierly, 82, of Jersey Shore, was traveling behind Myers in her 2020 Mazda when she began to slow down her vehicle and accidentally accelerated, rear-ending Myers' vehicle, police said.
Bierly sustained minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven. None of her passengers -- Kirsten M. McCloskey, 28, of Lock Haven, and an 8-year-old Lock Haven girl -- were injured as a result of the crash, police said.
Bierly was issued two warnings regarding driving a vehicle at safe speeds and following too closely, police said.
Police were assisted on scene by Martin Motors, Goodwill Hose EMS and Mill Hall Fire Department.
Slush leads to crash
LOGANTON -- The driver of a 2000 Toyota Corolla was not injured following a vehicle crash along East Valley Road, Greene Township, on Feb. 13, state police at Lamar said.
At 7:26 a.m., Carlos A. Gutierrez-Gonzale, 47, of Williamsport, was traveling west on the roadway when he lost control of his vehicle due to slush on the roadway, police said.
Gutierrez-Gonzale's vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a street sign and fence post before stopping in a culvert, police said.
Gutierrez-Gonzale's vehicle sustained minor damage to its right front corner and moderate damage to its left front wheel and was towed from the scene by Bressler's Garage, police said.
Harassment
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged harassment that occurred on Feb. 17 at 12:18 a.m. at Millbrook Plaza in Bald Eagle Township.
One vehicle crash
LAMAR -- The driver of a 2006 Honda Accord was taken via ambulance from the scene of a one vehicle crash due to an altered mental state on Feb. 16 at 8:07 p.m., state police at Lamar said.
The crash occurred along Nittany Valley Drive in front of Miller's Gun Shop where the driver, of Lock Haven, left the roadway and struck a privately owned sign before the vehicle's momentum carried it into a field off the right side of the road, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage as the driver, whose name was not listed, attempted to drive out of the field but was stopped by local residents, police said.
The driver was taken via Goodwill Hose EMS as a precautionary measure due to an altered mental state, police said.
The investigation into the crash is pending blood results, police said.
Police were assisted on the scene by Tressler's Towing, Lamar Township Fire Department and Lock Haven EMS, police said.
Harassment
WOOLRICH -- Laura Crawford, 40, of Lock Haven, was cited for harassment following an incident along Oriole Circle in Pine Creek Township on Feb. 16, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to a residence along the roadway at 7:16 a.m. for alleged harassment involving Crawford and a 35-year-old male victim, police said.
Minor injuries
MILL HALL -- A 20-year-old Oakdale, Pa., woman suffered suspected minor injuries following a one vehicle crash on the state Route 220 on ramp at Mill Hall Road, Bald Eagle Township on Feb. 15, state police at Lamar said.
Abigail O. Jerome was traveling around a curve in the northbound ramp when her 2010 Chevrolet Equinox left the east side of the road and struck a roadside ditch, police said.
The vehicle overturned onto the driver's side causing disabling damage, police said.
Jerome suffered suspected minor injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors.
Theft
FLEMINGTON -- Joshua Hanley, 39, of Orviston, is facing theft charges following an incident at Kingz Mart in Flemington, said state police at Lamar.
According to police, on Feb. 1 at 7:09 p.m., Hanley allegedly used improper skills machine tickets to obtain $941 from the location.
Charges are being prepared, police said.
Child endangerment
CASTANEA -- State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of child endangerment after officers responded to a home along Keller Street in Castanea Township on Feb. 10 for an unattended juvenile,
Domestic dispute
SPRING MILLS -- Jonathan Gummo, 27, of Spring Mills, was cited for harassment following an incident that occurred on Feb. 20 along Long View Lane in Gregg Township, Centre County, state police at Rockview said.
According to police, at 9:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a domestic dispute involving Gummo and a Spring Mills woman.
Drug possession
BELLEFONTE -- A 30-year-old Bellefonte woman was arrested for driving under the influence in Patton Township, Centre County, on Jan. 31, state police at Rockview said.
At 8:20 a.m., officers were called to Interstate 99 North near mile marker 705 for reports of a person slumped on the wheel of a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic, police said.
