LAMAR -- On April 16, 2024 at approximately 7:05 p.m., state police at Lamar stopped a 2018 BMW 530XI on Interstate-80 East near mile marker 173.7 for Title 75 violations.
According to police, during the traffic stop numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed; consent to search the vehicle was denied and a search warrant was obtained.
Police said a significant amount of vacuum sealed controlled substances, additional controlled substances and bulk currency were found through the search.
Amaury Paulino, 36, of Reading, Pa. and Richard Santos, 30, of New York, N.Y. were involved in this traffic stop, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright's office, police said.
DUI Crash
LOGANTON -- State police at Lamar responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer on April 19, 2024 at approximately 1:15 a.m. on East Valley Road, in Greene Township.
According to police, it was determined through investigation the operator of the 2005 Peterbilt Motors Co. tractor trailer was under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Chemical testing was consented, and charges are pending toxicology, police said.

NORTH BEND -- State police at Lamar are currently investigating a report of harassment that occurred on April 22, 2024 at approximately 4:15 p.m. in Chapman Township.
Involved in this are an unnamed 66 year-old female, of North Bend; a n unnamed 66 year-old male, of North Bend; and an unnamed 14 year-old female of Renovo.

RENOVO -- A report of a physical altercation occurred between two elementary students in South Renovo Borough on March 15, 2024 at approximately 2:30 p.m., according to state police at Lamar.
Simple assault, mental health
LOCK HAVEN -- The Woodward Township police department received a report of a juvenile female who, armed with a knife, made threats of suidice and against family members on April 25 at around 8 p.m.
Police noted she was put under arrest and committed on a 201 mental health commitment with criminal charges pending.
