Driving with operating
privilege suspended
LOCK HAVEN — On July 20, at around 2:15 p.m., Woodward Township Police arrested Nicole Burns, 54, of Lock Haven, for false identification to law enforcement, driving with a suspended license and driving with expired registration.
Police said during a vehicle stop, Burns provided police with a false identity to avoid detection for driving with a habitually suspended license.
Burns had eight warrants issued for her arrest, and this is at least her 12th time being charged with driving under suspension, police said.
Police positively identified Burns and she was arrested and taken to Clinton County Correctional Facility where she was arraigned and incarcerated in lieu of $10,000 bail, police said.
Retail theft
RENOVO — Renovo police have charged 33-year-old Kayla Colorado with a felony count of retail theft stemming from an incident on July 19 at Tony’s Hardware, 621 Huron Ave. in Renovo.
Police said Colorado stole a razor scraper tool valued at $5.99 from the store, and was taken into custody on July 21.
Colorado was brought to the Clinton County Correctional Facility and later arraigned by District Judge Frank Mills and jailed in lieu of a $10,000 bail, police said.
Police noted the charge is a felony due to Colorado having numerous prior retail theft convictions.
Possession of controlled
substance
RENOVO — Kayla Colorado, 33, has been charged by Renovo police with multiple drug offenses stemming from when she was arrested on July 21, 2024 and found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
Colorado was arrested on other charges and found to have multiple items of controlled substances and paraphernalia, police said.
According to police, she was brought to the Clinton County Correctional Facility and later arraigned by District Judge Frank Mills and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Nationwide Wanted Person
LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township Police made a vehicle stop on July 23, at around 3:50 p.m., and found the driver, Christopher J. Kelley, 32, was a wanted person out of Louisiana for failure to appear for drug offenses.
Police said Kelley was charged with driving without a license and was then taken into custody on the warrant and incarcerated in the Clinton County Correctional Facility pending extradition to Louisiana.
