Moderate injuries in crash

DUNNSTABLE — One driver suffered moderate injuries following a two-vehicle crash along Woodward Avenue in Dunnstable Township on Sept. 8, state police at Lamar said.

Kenneth L. Green, 64, of Jersey Shore, was traveling near the roadway’s intersection with Stewart Hill Road when he allegedly ran a stop sign and struck a 2023 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Caroline A. Borges, 24, of Lock Haven, police said.

Borges did not have a stop sign or signal, police said.

According to police, both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, with Borges being transported to Geisinger Jersey Shore by Lock Haven EMS for moderate injuries, police said.

Green was cited in relation to stop signs and yield signals, police said.

Burglary investigation

JERSEY SHORE — State police at Lamar are investigating a possible burglary that took place along Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township on Sept. 11.

At 9:54 p.m., police were dispatched to the property after receiving reports of a burglary in progress by a 27-year-old Jersey Shore woman, police said.

While on scene, police said evidence was observed that corroborated with the events described by the victim, police said.

The victim further told police a Ford pick-up truck of an unknown color/year with headlights on was parked at the bottom of her driveway during the event, police said.

Two cited for harassment

BEECH CREEK — Two 41-year-old men were cited for harassment after state police at Lamar were called to Hicks Run Road in Beech Creek Township on Sept. 1 for reports of a fight.

According to police, Malcolm Mulvaney and Clint Weaver were both cited after the two engaged in a mutual fight, resulting in minor injuries, police said.

Mailbox damaged

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar received a report of criminal mischief between Sept. 15 and 16 in Bald Eagle Township.

According to police, a 72-year-old Beech Creek man reported a mailbox was damaged along Sugar Run Road between 10 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 16, police said.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

One vehicle crash

MILL HALL — The driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence following a one-vehicle crash along Renovo Road in Colebrook Township on Aug. 29, state police at Lamar said.

At 10:07 p.m., a 64-year-old Beaver Spring, Pa., man was traveling west on the roadway when he attempted to turn left onto a private driveway, police said.

However, the driver passed the driveway and drove into a ditch, requiring a tow truck to pull it out, police said.

The vehicle sustained minor damage and the driver was not injured, but was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven for a chemical test, police said.

No injuries

McELHATTAN — The driver of a 2024 Subaru Ascent was not injured following a one-vehicle crash along Pine Mountain Road in Wayne Township on Sept. 15, state police at Lamar said.

At 11:51 a.m., Leah McMillion, 29, of Lock Haven, was traveling along the roadway when she lost control of her vehicle, striking an embankment, police said.

After impact, the vehicle slid down a hill about 25 feet before coming to rest facing east with disabling damage, police said.

No injuries were reported and police were assisted on the scene by Showcase Towing, Nippenose Valley and Wayne Township fire companies and Lock Haven EMS, police said.

Vehicle vandalized

BELLEFONTE — Charges are pending against a known 44-year-old Bellefonte woman for vandalizing a 2021 Hyundai at the Giant Supermarket in Benner Township on July 25, state police at Rockview said.

Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — State police are investigating an incident of drug possession on July 4, on Block Paradise Road, involving a known 33-year-old man from Bellefonte, according to state police at Rockview.
