Theft of fryer oil
MILESBURG — Two men were arrested in Boggs Township for the theft of several hundreds of gallons of used fryer oil stolen from Darling Ingredients, on the morning of Sept. 26, according to state police at Rockview.
Deyvin Santo-DeJesus, 22, of Allentown, and Carlos Encarnacion, 25, of Trenton, N.J., were taken into custody after police were dispatched to the 800 block of North Eagle Valley Road for a report of two men stealing used fryer oil, police said.
According to law enforcement, the search of Santo-DeJesus and Encarnacion’s 2023 Ford yielded a large-scale oil collection rig and approximately 350 gallons of used fryer oil in the truck.
The men allegedly damaged a 300 gallon metal oil container valued at $1,000 and were in possession of $506.25 of stolen oil.
According to police, the men, who were unable to post bail, are housed in the Centre County Jail and are being charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
Harassment
CENTRE HALL — A 28-year-old woman from Pittsburgh was charged with physical harassment on Oct. 3 after an incident involving a 40-year-old woman from Berlin, Pa., at The Meadows Psychiatric Center in Potter Township, according to state police at Rockview.
Harassment
BELLEFONTE — A 22-year-old woman from Bellefonte was charged with physical harassment on Oct. 2 after an incident involving a 22-year-old woman from State College on the 100 block of Bel Air Hills Road in Benner Township, according to state police at Rockview.
Minor injuries
BELLEFONTE — Christopher L. Worrick, 54, of Bellefonte, was charged with failure to stop at a traffic signal and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for suspected minor injuries after an accident on the Benner Pike on Aug. 25, state police at Rockview said.
Traveling north on the Benner Pike in a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, Worrick failed to stop at a red light at the intersection with the entrance to Giant, striking the front driver’s side of a 2011 Honda CRV, being driven by Erin Thor, 30, of Bellefonte, according to police.
Parked vehicle hit
CENTRE HALL — On Sept. 12 at around 6 p.m., a 2008 Ford struck a parked vehicle at the intersection of South Pennsylvania Avenue and East Church Street in Centre Hall and fled the scene, according to state police at Rockview.

Collision with deer
SPRING MILLS — Michael Harrison, 53, of Selinsgrove, struck a deer when it entered his lane of travel on Penns Valley Road in the area of Limestone Drive in Potter Township, according to state police at Rockview.
The accident caused disabling damage to the 2014 Jeep Harrison was operating, police said.
Sign struck
MILESBURG — On Sept. 30 around 1 p.m., a vehicle struck a PennDOT traffic arrow sign in the cone transition area of a work zone on Interstate 80 in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview.
The vehicle, which sustained unknown damage, continued westbound and fled the scene, police said.
Hit and run
SNOW SHOE — On the evening of Oct. 5, at the intersection of Hartline Road and Clarence Road in Snow Shoe Township, an unknown vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and struck a wooden fence on Hartline Road before fleeing the scene, according to state police at Rockview.
Vehicle strikes tree
SPRING MILLS — Jacob Donohue, 19, of Malvern, was charged with driving at an unsafe speed after crashing a 2005 Pontiac Vibe at the intersection of Penns Valley Road and Weaver Road in Potter Township on Oct. 5, according to state police at Rockview.
Traveling too fast to negotiate the turn, Donohue’s vehicle struck a tree, causing disabling damage and leaving him with a suspected concussion, police said.
Hit and run
MILESBURG — Gary Davey, Jr., 52, of Clay, Mich., was charged with failure to stop and provide information after being identified in a hit and run accident involving Econian Bezabeh, 33, of Dallas, state police at Rockview siad.
Bezabeth’s 2019 Freightliner Cascadia and Davey’s 2004 Peterbilt 387 collided on Sept. 12 on Interstate 80, according to police.
One vehicle crash
TUSSEYVILLE — Kelly M. Long, 56, of Lykens, was charged in relation to driving on roadways laned for traffic and transported by Penns Valley EMS to Mount Nittany Medical Center for suspected minor injuries in a crash that occurred at the intersection of Old Route 322 and Sand Mountain Road in Potter Township, state police at Rockview said.
The crash was caused after Long failed to negotiate a right curve, police said.
Vehicle strikes pole
DUNNSTOWN — Around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, a 16-year-old male from Lock Haven was traveling westbound on Farrandsville Road near the intersection of Brewery Hollow Road in Woodward Township when he failed to negotiate a turn and struck a utility pole with his 2014 Dodge Journey, according to state police at Lamar said.
The vehicle then overturned onto its side, but both he and a second 16-year-old occupant were uninjured, police said.
According to police, the Dunnstown Fire Department and Tressler’s Towing assisted at the scene, and the driver was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.
