Hit and run

JULIAN — Between 8 and 10 p.m. on Oct. 18, an unidentified vehicle traveling south on Julian Pike at the intersection of Shorty’s Way failed to navigate a curve in the road, striking four mailboxes before fleeing the scene, according to state police at Rockview.

Campaign sign theft

HOUSERVILLE — Six Donald Trump campaign signs, valued at $60, were stolen from a grassy area on Shiloh Road in Benner Township, near Interstate-99, according to state police at Rockview.

Police said the victim, an 83-year-old man from State College, placed the signs with permission of the land owner.

Road rage incident

CENTRE HALL — On Sept. 28 at 10:48 a.m., a woman brandished a knife at a 23-year-old from Lewistown during a road rage incident that occurred along South Pennsylvania Avenue in Potter Township, according to state police at Rockview.

The victim was unable to provide an accurate registration plate or vehicle description, but described the assailant as an “older” white female, police said.

Two-vehicle accident

MILLHEIM — On the morning of Oct. 8, Cody Guisewhite, 32, of Millheim, allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic when merging onto South Route 45 from South High Street in Millheim, causing a collision, state police at Rockview said.

Guisewhite’s 2012 Mitsubishi Galant sustained moderate damage to its rear driver’s side, and the 2006 Honda CRV, operated by Gabriel Senator, 34, of Spring Mills, sustained disabling damage to its front end, police said.

Guisewhite was charged with failure to follow stop/yield signs.

Theft from unlocked car

MILESBURG — A 59-year-old woman from Bellefonte reported to police that approximately $3 worth of change was stolen from an unlocked car from a Milesburg residence, according to state police at Rockview.

The victim said the theft could have happened any time within the past few weeks.

The victim was unable to provide any security footage or other investigative information and a canvas of the neighborhood did not produce any leads, police said.

Hit and run

SNOW SHOE — On Oct. 7 at 4:03 p.m., Stephany Pavao, 61, of Snow Shoe, was struck by an unknown vehicle in a 2003 Honda Accord while turning left from Sycamore Street onto Moshannon Avenue in Snow Shoe Township, according to state police at Rockview .

The other vehicle, a smaller, older black sedan fled from the scene, police said.

DUI

BELLEFONTE — A 24-year-old, of Bellefonte, was arrested for driving under the influence after state police received a report of an accident at the intersection of North Thomas Street and Railroad Street on Sept. 18, shortly after midnight, according to state police at Rockview.

An investigation determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and the 2011 Chevrolet he was operating was towed from the scene, police said.

Burglary

MILESBURG — A 17-year-old boy from Milesburg was charged with burglary for breaking into a business along Old Route 220 and stealing a four wheeler, according to state police at Rockview.

An investigation led to a suspect, and the four wheeler was recovered later that day, police said.

Crash

BELLEFONTE — On Sept. 18, at 12:34 a.m., Tre Wilson struck a barrier on the right side of the road at the 300 block of North Thomas Street in Bellefonte, according to state police at Rockview.

Wilson was uninjured as a result of the crash, but was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

Credit card theft

MINGOVILLE — On Sept. 24, Michelle Dreese, 48, of Bellefonte, reported $3,177.33 was stolen via fraudulent use of her Chase credit card, according to state police at Rockview.

Harassment

MILESBURG — A 22-year-old man from Ridgway was cited with harassment for subjecting another to unwanted physical contact on Oct. 10 on Smullton Road in Miles Township after a 17-year-old girl from Centre Hall advised police the man had touched her leg several times, despite being told to stop repeatedly, according to state police at Rockview.

Disorderly conduct

MILESBURG — On Sept. 25 at approximately 10:20 p.m., police responded to a disorderly conduct incident on the 300 block of High Street, Milesburg Borough, according to state police at Rockview.

A 55-year-old man from Milesburg was arrested in connection with the incident, which involved a 16-year-old boy from Bellefonte, police said.

DUI

BELLEFONTE — A 27-year-old man from Reedsville was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop for summary violations on Sept. 7 at 1:26 a.m. on Halfmoon Street in Bellefonte, according to state police at Rockview.

Theft

NITTANY — A 70-year-old woman from Howard reported that 20 checks were stolen from her in the area of Pine Street in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.

BELLEFONTE — On Sept. 13, PSP Rockview received a report that a utilizing dumpster from Actuated Medical in Bellefonte was stolen from 320 Rolling Ridge Dr. in Benner Township, according to state police at Rockview.

DUI

MILESBURG — A 54-year-old, of Bellefonte, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and drug possession during a traffic stop for summary violations on Grove Street in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Harassment

MILLHEIM — A warrant was issued for Jody Yerg, 65, of Millmont, for passing two bad checks for over $200, according to state police at Rockview.

Single-vehicle accident

ZION — On Oct. 12, Kyle Gates, 24, of Howard, was traveling along Forest Avenue when, for unknown reasons, he hit a utility pole on the left side of the road, according to state police at Rockview.

Gates was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

Identity theft

BLANCHARD — Oct. 11, an unknown actor attempted to steal a 54-year-old Bellefonte woman’s identity, according to state police at Rockview.
