Single-vehicle accident
RENOVO — A 33-year-old woman from North Bend was airlifted to UPMC-Williamsport Hospital via Lifeflight around 4 p.m. on Oct. 23 after sustaining serious injuries in a single-car crash on Renovo Road, according to the Renovo Police Department.
The driver and sole occupant of the 2021 Ford F150 failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, causing the truck to strike a rock wall, police said.
The vehicle suffered severe damages and was towed from the scene by Martin Motor’s.
Police said charges are pending their investigation.
PFA violation
DUNNSTOWN — Brandon Lee Kissell, 45, of Dunnstown, was arrested following an investigation into an alleged violation of a Protection from Abuse Order on Oct. 23, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.
Police said Kissell is accused of contacting the victim via telephone/text.
One vehicle crash
LOCK HAVEN — Woodward Township Police reported a one vehicle crash taking place on Oct. 26 at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Farrandsville Road near Queens Run Road.
Police said 61-year-old Floyd Bowmaster was driving a 2006 Nissan Murano westbound on Farrandsville Road in the area of Queens Run Road when he maneuvered his vehicle to avoid several deer and drove off the north side of the roadway.
Bowmaster’s vehicle struck a sign post, drove through brush and over rocks, tree stumps and logs before coming to rest approximately 50 feet into a field, police said.
Bowmaster may have had possible injuries but refused immediate treatment. The vehicle sustained moderate-severe damage and was towed by Tressler’s Towing of Lamar, police said.
Confinement of dogs
RENOVO — Renovo Police have charged Diana Moore, of Renovo, on Oct. 9, 2024 at approximately 9:30 p.m. with confinement of dogs for failing to secure a dog in the 200 block of 7th Street in Renovo.
Police said Moore is alleged to have failed to keep a dog under her control confined, resulting in the dog running from the premises and attacking another dog.
The victim dog suffered a considerable puncture wound to its body requiring veterinary care, police said.
Moore is charged by summons through District Court 25-3-03, police said.
