Deer collision

CENTRE HALL — Daniel Boone, 25, of Loganton, stuck a deer on Brush Valley Road near Penns Cave Road in Gregg Township with the front end of a 2014 Ford Focus on Oct. 23 at 6:32 a.m., causing the airbags to deploy and disabling damage to the vehicle, according to state police at Rockview.

Two vehicle accident

JACKSONVILLE — Esgerjan Hojyev, 37, of Levittown, rear ended Yi E. Lu, 53, of State College, after Lu slowed down in her 2013 BMW X5 for heavy traffic on Interstate-80, according to state police at Rockview.

Lu was transported by Pleasant Gap Fire Co. #1 EMS to Mount Nittany Medical Center and Hojyev was charged with following too closely, police said.

Indecent assault

CENTRE HALL — State police investigated a sexual assault incident that allegedly occurred in Gregg Township sometime in 2020.

Two vehicle accident

BELLEFONTE — A large rug laying in the travel lane of Interstate-99 on Oct. 14 caused Affina Garvin, 20, of Bellefonte, to rear end Brooke A. Rockey, 32, of Bellefonte, who was operating a 2013 Hyundai with a 2020 Audi Q3, according to state police at Rockview.

Rape suspected

BELLEFONTE — PSP Rockview is investigating two CY-104 reports of suspected child abuse involving a five-year-old girl in Benner Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Identity Theft

LOCK HAVEN — On Nov. 11, Woodward Township Police were called to investigate an identity theft and fraud from an elderly resident of Woodward Township.

Police said the victim’s personal information was used to fraudulently charge approximately $10,000 to a credit card in January 2024.

Theft

RENOVO — Renovo police have charged a 14-year old from Renovo with Theft by Unlawful Taking, stemming from an incident on Oct. 28, where the juvenile allegedly stole $45 in cash from a location in Renovo.

The juvenile has been charged through the Clinton County Juvenile Court, police said.

Sale of tobacco products

RENOVO — Renovo police have charged Tiffany Darby, 40, of Renovo, with sale of tobacco products stemming from an incident on Oct. 28, where Darby is alleged to have bought and provided tobacco products to an unnamed 17-year old.

Simple assault; harassment

RENOVO — Renovo police have charged a 14-year-old Renovo male with assault and harassment, stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 24 at the Bucktail Area Middle/High School.

Police said the unnamed arrestee is alleged to have assaulted another 14-year-old student, causing injury.

The juvenile has been charged through the Clinton County Juvenile Court, police said.

The Keystone Central School District Police Department assisted in the investigation, police said.
