Vehicle strikes tree
LAMAR — The driver of a 2005 Honda Civic was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Long Run Road in Lamar Township on Aug. 1, state police at Lamar said.
Kolton T. Parker, 23, of Lock Haven, was traveling east on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve after a deer entered the roadway, police said.
The vehicle went straight and struck a tree before continuing down an embankment and becoming partially submerged in a stream, police said.
Parker’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to its front end and was towed from the scene via a personal tow, police said.
Parker was cited in relation to operation of a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection, police said.
Deer causes crash
MILL HALL — The driver of a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo was not injured following a one vehicle crash along state Route 220 north in Bald Eagle Township on Aug. 14, state police at Lamar said.
At 11:20 p.m., Jasmine L. Monheim, 25, of Loganton, was traveling north in the left lane when she told police a deer came out into the roadway causing her to swerve, police said.
Monheim lost control of the Aveo and traveled across the right lane before overturning and coming to rest on the roadside, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene, police said.
Two vehicle crash
MILL HALL — No one was injured in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Nittany Valley Drive and Dotterers Road on Oct. 7 at 11:03 a.m., state police at Lamar said.
Charles L. Mosser, Jr., 61, of Beech Creek, was making a left turn onto Nittany Valley Drive, traveling at about 10 miles per hour, when his 2020 Terex Div Advance Mixer was struck from behind by a 1997 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by Curt L. Myers, 66, of Mill Hall, police said.
Neither driver was injured and Myers’s vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
Hit and run
AVIS — State police at Lamar are currently investigating a hit and run that occurred in the area of 111 Central Ave. in Avis Borough on Oct. 13.
At about 8 p.m., a vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a utility pole before traveling through a yard at 111 Central Ave., hitting a post holding an address sign before traveling back onto the road and fleeing the scene, police said.
Silver/gray paint was observed on the utility pole and a silver hub cap and tow mirror were found at the scene, police said.
Police suspect these to be part of a Ram 2500 Dually pickup truck.

$100 theft
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are looking for help in finding a suspect that stole $100 cash from a self-checkout at Walmart in Mill Hall on Sept. 20.
According to police, at about 2 p.m. a 75-year-old Howard woman received $100 cash back while using the machine but forgot it at the register, police said.
The following customer allegedly stole the money and made no attempts to return it, police said.

Firearm charge
LAMAR — A 25-year-old Las Vegas, Nev., man was arrested and charged with firearms not to be carried with a license following an incident along Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township on Oct. 14, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to 5609 Nittany Valley Drive at 7:42 a.m. for a request to speak with a trooper, police said.
During that time, Aubrey McCoy was arrested for the firearms violation, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Vehicle strikes car door
WOOLRICH — The driver of a 2006 Hyundai Accent suffered injuries following a crash involving two vehicles along Park Avenue in Pine Creek Township on Sept. 19 at 5:56 a.m., state police at Lamar said.
Raymond E. Bower’s vehicle was parked along the wrong lane of travel as he delivered mail when he noticed a 2013 Subaru Outback, driven by Jamie D. Williamson, 37, of Woolrich, was approaching his vehicle, police said.
Bower attempted to hurry back to his vehicle, where his door was opened, when Williamson — who was attempting to drive around the vehicle — struck the open door, police said.
The door struck Bower causing suspected injuries to his shoulder, police said.
Bower was transported to Geisinger Jersey Shore by Goodwill Hose EMS and was cited in relation to opening and closing vehicle doors, police said.
Indecent assault
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged incident of indecent assault that took place between Aug. 1 and Aug. 15 in Logan Township.
Minor injuries
MILL HALL — The driver of a 2016 Nissan Altima and her one-year-old passenger sustained suspected minor injuries following a one vehicle crash along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Oct. 9, state police at Lamar said.
At 2:28 p.m., Alyssa M. Flanigan, 26, of Mill Hall, was traveling along the roadway when she struck two curbs, causing disabling damage to the vehicle near the entrance of Tractor Supply, police said.
Both Flanigan and her passenger were transported to UPMC Lock Haven by Goodwill Hose EMS, police said.
Burglary
LOCK HAVEN — State police at Lamar are investigating a burglary that took place at the Castanea Social Hall, 300 S. Hanna St., in Castanea Township, between 4:33 a.m. and 5:34 a.m. on Oct. 8.

Drug possession
LAMAR — A traffic stop and search of a 2015 BMW yielded a large amount of suspected marijuana and oxycodone, state police at Lamar said.
The stop, along Interstate 80 West in Porter Township, took place on Oct. 11 at 4:04 p.m. for a Title 75 violation when multiple indicators of criminal activity were observed, police said.
Following a consent to search, the drugs were discovered, police said.
No other information was listed as the investigation continues, police said.
Harassment charges
FLEMINGTON — A 17-year-old Lock Haven male was charged with harassment following an incident along Sturdevant Street in Flemington Borough on Oct. 15, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to a home at 6:48 p.m. for a domestic incident where it was discovered the teen kicked and pushed the 54-year-old victim multiple times, causing her to fall to the floor, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Keith Kibler’s office.
Theft of items
MILL HALL — A 64-year-old Lock Haven man was charged with retail theft after an incident at Walmart along Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall on Oct. 16, state police at Lamar said.
The man is accused of stealing $121.70 worth of Pokemon trading cards at about 2:50 p.m. that day, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
