Assault with weapon
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar were called to an incident along Girard Street in Mill Hall Borough on Oct. 7 for reports of an assault with a weapon.
According to police, a 28-year-old Lock Haven woman, while wielding a metal carabiner clip on her hand, punched a 31-year-old Mill Hall woman which caused the strike to land in a similar effect as someone using brass knuckles, police said.
The victim was treated for head injuries at UPMC Lock Haven, police said.
The Lock Haven woman was charged in relation to assault with a deadly weapon through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Retail theft
MILL HALL — Charges were filed against an 18-year-old Buffalo, N.Y., man for retail theft following an incident at Walmart along Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, on Oct. 6, state police at Lamar said.
Officers were dispatched to the store at 8:35 p.m. for reports of retail theft involving $61.84 in miscellaneous stolen items, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Burglary
RENOVO — State police at Lamar were called to a home along Renovo Road in Noyes Township on Oct. 6 for reports of a burglary at the property.
The incident occurred between Sept. 21 and Oct. 6, when a back door was damaged, causing $100 in damage, and a box of shotgun shells, valued at $20, was taken from the property, police said.
An investigation into the theft is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000.
Theft of scrap metal
RENOVO — State police at Lamar are investigating the theft of scrap metal at a property along Ontario Avenue, Renovo Borough, that occurred between Aug. 12 and Sept. 4.
Copper metal pipes and wires were taken from inside the residence of an abandoned residence, owned by a 48-year-old Pottersdale, Pa., woman, police said.
Domestic incident
LOCK HAVEN — An 8-year-old Lock Haven boy was injured during a domestic dispute along Eagle Hollow Road, Gallagher Township, on Sept. 1, state police at Lamar said.
Officers were dispatched to the area at 11:45 a.m. for reports of a domestic incident where, upon arrival, it was discovered a 32-year-old Lock Haven man, during a verbal argument, grabbed a metal tree climbing boot attachment and threw it behind him, police said.
The attachment struck an 8-year-old in the shoulder, causing injury, police said.
The Lock Haven man was taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Harassment
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar received a report from a registered nurse at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital that a female patient, a 21-year-old of Mill Hall, was afraid to go home due to issues with parents.
The call was reported on Sept. 23 at 11:18 a.m., police said.
Harassment
MILL HALL — On Oct. 2 at 1:20 a.m., state police at Lamar investigated a Childline Referral pertaining to harassment of an 11-year-old boy in Bald Eagle Township.
Following an investigation, the incident was deemed unfounded, police said.
Found property
MILL HALL — On Oct. 9, a tax refund check was found in the Sheetz parking lot along Hogan Boulevard, police said.

One vehicle crash
BEECH CREEK — A 45-year-old Blanchard man was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property following a one vehicle crash along Eagle Valley Road, Beech Creek Township, on Aug. 25, state police at Lamar said.
At about 9:15 p.m., Jeremy D. Miller was traveling west on the roadway when his 2018 Toyota Tundra crossed into the opposing lane onto the south berm, striking a pole with his driver’s side mirror, police said.
The vehicle continued, leaving the road on the south berm and continued into a grass area where it struck another utility pole with the front passenger side, causing it to be sheared off — with some residents losing power, police said.
Miller’s vehicle continued into a soybean field for about 100 feet before being driven out of the field and back onto the roadway and leaving the scene without reporting damage, police said.
Officers contacted Miller at his home on Sept. 1 where he told police he was driving the Toyota at the time of the crash and believed he did not need to report it, police said.
Observations of the truck revealed damage consistent with the scene, police said.
Miller told police he struck a deer in the roadway which caused him to lose control of the vehicle, police said.
DUI charge
McELHATTAN — A 40-year-old Lock Haven man was charged with driving under the influence following an incident along Railroad Lane, Wayne Township, on Sept. 15, state police at Lamar said.
At 11:39 p.m., police were called to the area for reports of a 2015 Nissan Rogue stuck on the train tracks in the area, police said.
During the investigation it was revealed the driver was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Keith Kibler’s office.
DUI alleged
MILL HALL — A 68-year-old Mill Hall man could face driving under the influence charges following a traffic stop along Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, on Sept. 30, state police at Lamar said.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata due to a vehicle code infraction.
During the stop, the driver showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
The incident is currently under investigation, police said.
