No injuries
KETTLE CREEK — No one was injured in a two vehicle crash that took place along Kettle Creek Road in Leidy Township on Oct. 9, state police at Lamar said.
Kenneth A. Anderson, III, 30, of Lock Haven, was traveling along the roadway near Calhoun Lane when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve causing his 2008 GMC V3500 to travel into the opposing lane of traffic, police said.
Anderson’s vehicle struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Kevin M. Wentzel, 64, of Lebanon, Pa., traveling in the opposite lane, police said.
Both vehicles suffered disabling damage, police said.
Police were assisted on the scene by Leidy Township Fire Company and township employees, police said.
Fishing equipment stolen
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are asking the public for help in finding stolen fishing equipment.
A 14-year-old Jersey Shore boy left a black Shakespeare spinning rod, valued at $205; a black and blue Shakespear spinning rod, valued at $70; a black LL Bean backpack, valued at $100; and fishing lures, valued at $40 on the sidewalk near bridge columns along Hogan Boulevard at about 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 15, police said.
When the teen returned at about 10:15 a.m. the backpack and other items were missing, police said.
A neighborhood canvas was conducted but no information was found, police said.

Domestic incident
MILL HALL — Two individuals were charged with harassment following an incident along Beagle Road, Lamar Township, on Oct. 17, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to the area at about 4:12 p.m. for reports of a domestic violence incident, police said.
After an investigation, it was found a 60-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both of Mill Hall, were both subjected to physical contact and were arrested for harassment, police said.
Three charged with harassment
LOGANTON — Three individuals were charged with harassment after state police at Lamar were called to a business along Eagle Valley Road in Greene Township on Oct. 18.
Police responded at 5:55 a.m. for reports of three employees involved in an altercation, police said.
Through an investigation it was determined Jeanal Edmond, 34, of Lock Haven, Jose Rivas, 28, of Northumberland, and Paul Jaquez, 36, of Lock Haven, were involved in a physical altercation, police said.
All three individuals were charged with harassment/physical contact, police said.
Vehicle strikes deer
CASTANEA — The driver of a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek was not injured after striking a deer along state Route 220 near mile marker 112 in Castanea Township on Oct. 17, state police at Lamar said.
The accident occurred at about 9:17 p.m. and saw the vehicle sustain minor damage, police said.
Retail theft charge
MILL HALL — Marena Paulino, 19, of Slatington, Pa., was arrested and charged with stealing nearly $40 worth of merchandise from Walmart along Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall on Oct. 3, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to the store at 12:26 p.m. where Paulino attempted to steal six items — a Kinder Bueno, valued at $1.48; two greeting cards totalling $5.94; acne spot dots, valued at $4.88; flushable wipes, valued at $1.93; and a hair straightener, valued at $24.16, police said.
A citation for retail theft was filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Harassment alleged
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar received a report of harassment that took place between 2003 and 2004 at the Bald Eagle Boys Camp, along Wilderness Trail in Bald Eagle Township, involving a 13-year-old boy from Quakertown, Pa.
The investigation into the incident is closed, police said.
No injuries
RAUCHTOWN — No one was injured in a two vehicle crash along Rauchtown Road, Crawford Township, on Oct. 18, state police at Lamar said.
At 1:13 p.m., a 2016 Ram truck was traveling 10 miles per hour in the 3200 block of the roadway when the driver, no name listed, came upon a 2019 Kenworth T300 traveling 5 miles per hour, police said.
The Kenworth, no driver listed, had its hazard lights on and was preparing to stop to deliver fuel when the Ram attempted to overtake the vehicle but did not give enough space, causing the truck to strike the other vehicle in its 7 o’clock position, police said.
Both drivers were not injured as a result of the crash, police said.
Hit and run
LAMAR — No one was reported injured in a hit and run crash along Interstate 80 West in Lamar Township on Oct. 17, state police at Lamar said.
M.A. Slesarevich, 18, of Staten Island, N.Y., was traveling west on the roadway when his 2020 Nissan Rogue was struck in the front passenger side hood and bumper by a tractor trailer, causing a flat tire, police said.
The tractor trailer continued traveling west without stopping, police said.

Two vehicle crash
MILL HALL — No injuries were reported in a two vehicle crash along Hogan Boulevard at its intersection with Mill Hall Road on Oct. 15, state police at Lamar said.
At 3:57 p.m., Nathaniel S. Hosley, 69, of Mill Hall, was stopped behind a backlog of cars which could not move due to a steady red light at the intersection ahead, police said.
Hosley’s 2017 Lincoln Navigator was parked in such a way that the rear of the vehicle was not entirely in the left turning lane and protruded into the middle of three lanes, police said.
Cora Bechdel, 62, of Howard, was traveling west on Hogan Boulevard and struck the rear of Hosley’s vehicle with her 2013 Ford Escape, police said.
The crash caused minor damage to Hosley’s vehicle and disabling damage to Bechdel’s vehicle, police said.
Hosley’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Tressler’s Towing, police said.
Vehicle strikes tree
RENOVO — Joshua G. Schreffler, 30, of Fleetwood, was allegedly under the influence of alcoholic beverages and a controlled substance during a one vehicle crash along Grugan Hollow Road in Noyes Township on Oct. 19, state police at Lamar said.
At 1:19 a.m., Schreffler was traveling east on the roadway when his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the left side of the road for unknown reasons and struck a tree, police said.
Schreffler left the scene of the crash after the vehicle sustained disabling damage, police said.
Schreffler suffered suspected minor injuries as a result of the crash, police said.
Theft investigation
RENOVO — State police are continuing to investigate a reported theft at a property along Gratzmar Avenue, Noyes Township, involving a 74-year-old victim, police said.
No further information was available.
Crash involving deer
AVIS — The driver of a 2020 Subaru Outback was not injured after the vehicle struck a deer along state Route 220 North in Pine Creek Township on Oct. 20, state police at Lamar said.
The vehicle, no driver listed, was traveling in the left lane at about 67 miles per hour when a deer entered the travel lane, police said.
The driver attempted to brake and avoid the deer but was unsuccessful, causing minor cosmetic damage to the grill, police said.
Deer hair was observed on the grill of the vehicle following the crash, police said.
DUI alleged
LOCK HAVEN — A 22-year-old Williamsport man may face driving under the influence charges following a traffic stop on North Jay Street in Lock Haven on Oct. 20, state police at Lamar said.
At 2:46 a.m., a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was stopped for a traffic stop due to multiple traffic violations, police said.
During an investigation it was determined the driver was under the influence of alcoholic beverages and chemical testing was consented to, police said.
Criminal charges are pending toxicology reports, police said.
