Corruption of minors

FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an incident involving the corruption of minors in Flemington Borough.

At 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 27, police received reports of an unknown suspect sending and receiving nude images from an 11-year-old victim, police said.

Theft of services

LOCK HAVEN — A 36-year-old Lock Haven man was cited for theft of services after failing to pay his bill at a local bar twice, Lock Haven City Police said.

According to police, Robert McGee went to a business along North Grove Street on Nov. 7 and Nov. 10 and left both days without paying his bill, police said.

Public drunkenness

JERSEY SHORE — Nicole Lynn Stover, 36, of Jersey Shore, was charged with disorderly conduct after arriving intoxicated and confused at the borough’s Lycoming Regional office just before 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 2, according to the Lycoming Regional Police Department.

She questioned the whereabouts of her boyfriend, who police advice was being treated for injuries sustained during their recent domestic dispute, an affidavit said.

Concerned for her safety, police refused to let Stover walk home to her apartment on Wilson Street and insisted she call a ride, police said.

Police eventually made contact with her sister, who agreed to pick her up. At one point, police said Stover could be seen exiting the car while arguing with her sister, before eventually getting back in and driving away.

Stover was arraigned on an additional charge of public drunkenness by District Judge Denise Dieter.

Indecent assault

LOCK HAVEN — A 43-year-old Lock Haven man was arrested for indecent assault following an incident along the 700 block of Bellefonte Avenue on Oct. 31, Lock Haven City Police said.

Christopher Caris is accused of touching the victim’s private area over her pants without her consent at about 8 p.m. that night, police said.

Disorderly conduct

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police cited a 45-year-old Lock Haven man with disorderly conduct following an incident at Triangle Park on Nov. 14.

At about 2 p.m., John Weaver was at the park and allegedly yelling threatening statements at people passing by, police said.

Harassment

LOCK HAVEN — A 54-year-old Lock Haven woman was cited for harassment following an incident along East Bald Eagle Street on Nov. 19, Lock Haven City Police said.

Angelia Bean-Rogers is accused of pulling a victim’s hair and ripping it out during a dispute with a neighbor at about 12:45 p.m. that afternoon, police said.

PFA Violation

LOCK HAVEN — Gerrica Robinson, 34, of State College, was arrested for a Protection from Abuse Order violation following an attempt to call the victim on Nov. 22 at about 8 a.m., Lock Haven City Police said.

Burglary

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police received reports of a burglary which took place between Nov. 2 and Nov. 4 at a business in the 200 block of West Park Street.

Criminal trespass

LOCK HAVEN — Ashley Ruggiers, 38, of Lock Haven, was arrested for criminal trespass after an incident that occurred on Nov. 27, Lock Haven City Police said.

According to police, at about 5:20 a.m., Ruggiers was located behind the Goodwill Store at Kephart Plaza along Walnut Street at its dumpster, after having received a trespass notice from the store, police said.

Vehicle struck

LOCK HAVEN — On Nov. 19 at about 8:15 a.m., Lock Haven City Police reported a leaf collection truck hit a parked vehicle in the 10 block of East Church Street.

Vehicle hits pole

LOCK HAVEN — A vehicle struck a pole in the parking lot at CVS along Bellefonte Avenue on Nov. 21 at about 8 a.m., Lock Haven City Police said.

Vehicle hits curb

LOCK HAVEN — A vehicle was towed from the scene following a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and West Water Street on Nov. 22, Lock Haven City Police said.

At about 11 a.m., a vehicle was turning off of Susquehanna Avenue onto Water Street when it struck a curb, police said.

Criminal trespass

LOCK HAVEN — A Lock Haven woman was cited for criminal trespass after an incident on Oct. 30, Lock Haven City Police said.

Ruth Keen, 52, is accused of entering a residence on Pine Tree Lane after being told by the owner she was not allowed there, police said.

Simple assault

JERSEY SHORE — Amie Marie Anderson, 43, of Jersey Shore, was arrested by state police after a physical altercation between her and her mother’s boyfriend on Sept. 28.

Anderson got into an argument that turned violent with the boyfriend, who had been drinking, after he made a comment about her deceased brother, according to police.

Anderson stated she was punched in the face during the scuffle, which ended on the ground. She also admitted to biting the boyfriend’s hand while he attempted to push her off of him. Injuries were observed by police on both Anderson and the boyfriend, who alleged he was strangled.

None of the witnesses or participants could identify who began the fight, but nonetheless Anderson was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment by District Judge Denise Dieter.

Theft of services

RENOVO — Christopher Hotchkiss, 38, of Renovo, was charged with theft of services stemming from an incident that occurred on the evening of Dec. 3, according to the Renovo Police Department.

Hotchkiss allegedly discarded numerous items of trash in a dumpster paid for by another person and will be sent a summons through the District Court, police said.

Criminal trespass

RENOVO — Kyle Bentley, 37, of Renovo, was charged with defiant criminal trespass stemming from an incident that occurred on Birch Street in Renovo on Dec. 4, according to the Renovo Police Department.

Bentley allegedly banged on the doors and windows of the home of his ex-spouse after showing up without permission and refusing to leave after being told dozens of times, police said.

Hit and run

RENOVO — On Nov. 29, around 9:45 p.m., along the 600 block of Huron Avenue, Renovo, a maroon RAM 2500 pickup truck pulling a white Wildwood camper trailer struck a parked vehicle, causing minor damage, according to the Renovo Police Department.

The operator of the truck did not stop and video is being analyzed to determine a suspect, police said.

Two-vehicle collision

LOGANTON — Nathan Diggs, 20, of Lewisburg, was charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic after he rear-ended another vehicle on Interstate 80 in Greene Township, according to state police at Lamar.

The collision caused Diggs to lose control of his vehicle, travel off the shoulder of the interstate and strike a guide rail before coming to a controlled final rest, police said.

According to authorities, the other operator involved did not stop and continued traveling east on Interstate 80

DUI

RENOVO — Gene Eaton, 48, of Renovo, was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, driving at an unsafe speed, criminal mischief, reckless driving, overtaking a school bus and causing an accident involving damage to unattended property after an incident on Fourth Street in Renovo Borough on Nov. 15 around 3 p.m., according to the Renovo Police Department.

Police said Eaton was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck when he allegedly passed a stopped school bus with its lights flashing and ran a stop sign at the intersection of Fourth Street and Erie Avenue. Unable to navigate the turn, Eaton’s truck reportedly jumped the curb and landed on the railroad tracks.

The impact broke the truck’s front wheel, but Eaton allegedly continued revving the engine, spinning the tires and sending rocks flying. Authorities said the flying debris shattered a window at the First Commonwealth Bank across the street.

Eaton, who police said appeared intoxicated, fled on foot but was apprehended after resisting arrest. He was taken into custody and later committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility on a probation detainer, authorities said.
