Car loses tire

MILL HALL — No injuries were reported after a tire came off of a 1995 Ford F-150XLT along state Route 150 near Willow Lane in Mill Hall Borough on Dec. 28, 2024, state police at Lamar said.

At 6:31 p.m., the vehicle, no driver listed, was traveling south on the roadway when the rear driver’s side wheel came off and the drum brake assembly struck the northside of the Clinton County Magisterial District 2 Judge’s office, causing minor damage to the cement block foundation of the building, police said.

The vehicle continued along the roadway and pulled into the parking lot of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where its wheel was able to be replaced, police said.

The driver and the district justice office were issued a copy of the driver exchange report and application to obtain the crash report, police said.

The driver was cited in relation to operating a vehicle without an official certificate of inspection, police said.

LAMAR — State police at Lamar are currently investigating a report of child abuse that occurred at an unknown location on April 9, 2024.

Drug possession

LAMAR — State police at Lamar are currently investigating an incident of drug possession in a vehicle along South Heckman’s Gap Road, Lamar Township, on Dec. 31, 2024.

At 11:35 a.m., police stopped a 2012 Toyota Highlander for Title 75 violations.

During the stop, indicators of criminal activity were observed and a consent to search the vehicle was requested and granted, police said.

During the search, controlled substances were found hidden in a natural voice inside of the dash, police said.

Drink thrown at vehicle

LAMAR — State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Dec. 30, 2024 along Peach Orchard Road, Porter Township.

According to police, a 21-year-old Lock Haven woman reported that someone threw a carbonated beverage can at a 2023 Ford Explorer which was parked in the victim’s driveway, police said.
